This was my first time buying one of these figures, and I wasn't sure what to expect as far as quality and detail. So I went for a more expensive one in the hopes that I wouldn't be dissatisfied and want to return it. I made the right call, I guess. It is really beautiful and the craftsmanship looks very sharp and even. Even her face looks right, which is not easy to pull off. She stands at about 17 inches tall with her ears, so a little taller than I was expecting (no complaints). The little white nubs on her head are supposed to be removed to be replaced with her bunny ears, btw. I'm not an expert, but I think they nailed it.
Okay if your buying this you understand outright that it is semi provocative and some people are going to give you looks. That being said the overall quality of the statuette is nice. The bodice is a nice high gloss that 1. will show fingerprints so your gonna wanna wipe it with a lint free cloth and 2. will show dust because well it is black so really use a lint free cloth on it if you are gonna display it. The fishnet is kind of a rough "fabric" but seems heavy enough to not be easily torn should it fall from shelf or anything. The bunny ears plug into the back of the head and are kind of a p.i.t.a. to put in at least on mine. As far as the detail work its nice and it for sure looks like Tohru with a very reminiscent expression and pose. That said, and I could be completely wrong on this, the proportions don't seem really right and I think whoever designed this statuette took some artistic liberties in what her D for dragon semi catchphrase meant. Think they could have downsized here a little bit. Lastly and most importantly. She is tall so make sure you have a place for her to stand.
