This was the first Star Wars Lego set I bought to recreate the famous Battle of Hoth, one of my favourite scenes from the Star Wars universe. Since then my Hoth collection has turned into an addiction, an addiction for which I am seeking professional help.
Despite being the smallest of my Hoth sets this is arguably the best value. Included is a speeder bike, a small defensive fortification, a heavy blaster and four minifigures: three Snowtroopers and one Scout Trooper to pilot the speeder, and they are equipped with three blasters and a blaster rifle.
I don’t recall speeder bikes being featured in the Battle of Hoth but might be wrong. Except I’m not so it’s inclusion is a little strange. I can only assume the Scout Trooper was on a military exchange programme and perished off-camera. And hey you get an extra speeder bike which always nice and it’s identical to the current generation of bikes included in the AT-AT (75288) set.
Overall this results in a solid squad of four to start your Hoth collection and storm a rebel base or add to an existing collection, and the mixture of figures and equipment offers great playability for different scenarios.
At £13.99 the set is fairly priced baring in mind the cost of Lego in general and I don’t think you’ll find better value across the entire Star Wars collection. I’ve even considered buying a second before it’s retired and the price rockets but my addiction therapist stepped in. Strongly recommended for all fans young and old.

Jammer. Beide gaan dus terug.
