Don't look down on the fact that this only uses 16 cards.
It's an exciting, high paced game of deduction that is so small you can pull it out and play it anywhere.
The artwork in this version is much nicer than the original.

現在、国内のカナイ製作所のものが流通しています。
価格は500〜700円程度。
なんとラブレターを入れる封筒のなかに16枚のカードとルール説明書が入っています。
パッケージ分をコストダウンしているわけですが、その甲斐あっての低価格は評価できます。

たった16枚のカードを使い、あっという間に1ゲームが終わる。

この設定は、ワンドロー社によって「ロストレガシー」というゲームに継承されています。
ただし、このラブレターとはかなり違った感触になっています。

ゲームとしての完成度はロストレガシーのほうが上と感じましたが、良くも悪くもこのラブレターはスピーディです。
ゲーム開始と同時に死亡（ゲーム脱落）ということも頻繁に起きます。

数ゲーム遊ぶだけだとこのゲームのおもしろさは味わえないのではないかと思います。
10ゲームほど続けていると（それでも1時間はかからない）、なにか不思議な味が出てきます。
脳内からなにかドーパミンが生成されていうような。

現在価格であれば、リスクも少なく買う価値ありだと思います。

First of all I love picking up little compact games that you can take on the go, however some games that are small in size doesn't work out that they use a small area to play, this game only requires a really small space to play which is fantastic for portability.

Now most importantly onto the game, it's a speedy game with a fun theme and it's one you could say "okay, let's have another go" straight after playing! Lots of fun and I know we'll play this many times over in the future!

It is very portable (16 cards plus some small cubes) and if I'm going to a social event, it is an easy stow-away in a jacket pocket. Strategy is simple enough to be accessible to newcomers but complex enough to make repeat plays engaging. Plus, I find identity games like this (another example is masquerade) makes the theme interesting enough to generate interest. Great buy for any gamer.

This was purchased for a thirteen year old girl's christmas present. The game is simple, easy, fast paced, and very enjoyable. The cards are sturdy, are very prettily detailed. My one problem is that the game doesn't give closure, once you win four rounds, that's it. (To make it a little more fun, we wrote our own love letters to the princess, and when you win, you pick one to read aloud to the group.) I think it's a fun game that anyone could learn, and a great time filler, but isn't a game you get invested in.
