中古の購入は初期化がされてない場合がある、外の３つのボタンを同時押しでも初期化できない。teratermで入りcold startしようとしても、共通パスワードで入れない。恐らく以前の方がそういう設定にしたのだろう。
動作確認済みとして購入をしてもこのざまだった。何よりＹＡＭＡＨＡ製と書いてあるのに第1興商用のＯＥＭだとこういうことが起こるらしい。初期化できているものかどうかを念入りに確認をすることをお勧めします。
商品自体は優れものなのに。。。もったいない

2013年4月に購入。3年以上になりますが、フリーズとかは経験したことがありません。
他メーカーのルーターをたくさん使用しましたが、たいてい、時々フリーズし、再起動が
必要でした。しかし、ヤマハのルーターには「フリーズ」と言う言葉は無縁です。
速度低下もなく、ほったらかしで3年間安定して動いています。
ヤマハのネットボランチDNSサービスを使ってVPN接続をしていますが、速度も十分で、
外出時にスマホから自宅NASに接続して使用しています。
本当に価値ある製品です。
なお、初期値でipv6がONになっているので、設定でOFFにしています。
