最初は吸血鬼ものでした。スタンドが登場してから吸血鬼・波紋・石仮面には触れられなくなります（笑）
「夜明けのヴァンパイア」という小説を少年漫画風にアレンジしたような漫画だと思いました
(ゴシックロマン風の雰囲気や金髪の自分勝手なイケメン吸血鬼と黒髪緑目の主人公の因縁など)
ジョジョは実は剽窃が多くオリジナリティに欠けるところがあるし
夜明けのヴァンパイアが関係無いにしても既存作品とかぶっていて新しさは無かったということです
ジョナサンとディオは原作では宿敵にも関わらずユリイカ誌の作者インタビューではそれ以上の関係を匂わせたのも夜明けのヴァンパイア元ネタ疑惑を深めます
犬の扱いは一応は悪党ディオがやった悪いことで主人公のジョナサンが怒る展開になってはいますが
３部も結局は犬死んでるし動物の扱いがシリーズ通して悪く動物が苦手なのだろうと感じます
そこからはどうしても冷たい印象を受け、善や愛や正義などの部分は理屈で「ジャンプだから必要だ」と判断して書いていて
本心では愛だの正義だの興味ないのではないかと思ってしまう
熱さが嘘くさいのはジャンプの漫画としてはなんかスカッとしないものがあります
ホラーが好きで西洋のファッションや音楽や芸能人に憧れているのはガチなのかもしれませんし
絵は北斗の拳や男塾みたいな劇画の影響を受けているけどそれらとは違う耽美的な雰囲気もあるので(ディオなど)
同じ趣味なら面白いところもあるかも
パクリ指摘サイトでもイラスト構図の盗用や他の漫画や映画からのエピソード盗用など剽窃が指摘されてるというのに
なぜか大目に見られて続いているのはまるでディオのように悪運が強いとしか言いようがない
