I was super excited that I could get the TG16 mini shipped from Japan for only a few dollars more than since the US models were delayed. I played off and on for a couple of weeks then one night no controller recognition. I was worried it would happen after a friend told me he had the same issue. Apparently there’s a defect in the first round of minis. Pretty crappy. I’ve shipped mine back to Japan for a large sum of money, of which only 2/3 will be put back on my credit card. The remainder will be in amazon Japan gift card. Not a great outcome. Pretty disappointed in Hori’s quality assurance or lack there of.
