他の方のレビューで画質が汚いとか操作性が悪い等々書かれていますが先ず理解してほしいのは今作は20年以上前のゲームなんです。MGS1に関しては1998年発売です。そもそもベタ移植なんでそれに画質がとか操作性がとか求めるのは間違ってますよ。低いレビューを書いてる人は最近の簡単なゲームばかりに慣れてしまい初代のMGSを未プレイで初代PSをプレイした事が無い方々でしょうね。「MGS1」は初代プレイステーションのゲームとしては最高峰のグラフィックスを誇っており、冒頭のシーンから当時プレイした当時の驚きを思い出しました。私はPS5でプレイしていますが動きはヌルヌル動くのでそれだけで感動ものです。初代「MG」及び「MG2」に加え、各作品のゲーム内テキストが収録されたシナリオブックや、ストーリーやキャラクターを深堀りして知ることができるマスターブック、デジタルサウンドトラックなど豊富なコンテンツが目白押しで、シリーズファンならば是非とも手にしたいコレクションです。

メタルギア シリーズの作品はほとんどプレイ済みで、HDコレクションなども持っていましたが、今回最新の機種で遊べるということもあり、購入してみました。
良かった点としては
①最新の機種でメタルギア ソリッド初期作品が一気に遊べること。
②名作品ごとのマスターブックがとても魅力的で、シリーズの繋がりや、小ネタなどが記載されていてなかなか力が入っている。
③メタルギア ソリッド2.3での感圧操作がボタン操作になった。（銃の暴発などがなくなった。）
④メタルギアソリッド1で謎解き用にパッケージがメニューから見れたり、サイコマンティス用に仮装メモリーカードを作れたりと、工夫がされていた。

という感じです。

惜しいと思った点としては

①パッケージ版でもダウンロードを何個も（4つほど？）しないといけなく、面倒。

②2.3でHDコレクションと同じくオリジナルから削れた部分は相変わらず。（特に3が顕著）

③フレームレートが少し低く感じる？

④バグがあり、2で雷電が落ちたとき、落ち続けゲームオーバーにならないことがあった。
（アップデートで改善されてきているので今は大丈夫だと思うが）
というところです。

しかし特典なども充実していて買ってよかったと思える出来でした。
（単なる移植ではない！！）
Vol.2や、メタルギア Δも楽しみです。

スマブラでスネークを知ってメタルギア に触れてみたいと思ったシリーズ初心者の方や、今までのシリーズ経験済みの方どちらにも十分お勧めできる内容ではないでしょうか？

もともとPSPのメタルギアソリッド　ピースウォーカーをプレイしていました。その流れで本作を購入。操作が難しくVery Easyモード以上で周回する気が起きません。その理由は1しゃがみ行動が出来ない、2マップがワンクリックで開かない、3画面が切り替わると装備が外れている、4建物の角に隠れるのが難しく疲れる、5ケロタンの滑走路が打てなくてコンプリートをあきらめる、6リセットがゲームを終了しなくては出来なくて時間をロスする（６個のボタンを同時押しらしいが、うまくいかない）など。ストーリーは映画を観てるようで面白かった。

メタルギアサーガを一通りプレイしたことのあるだけのライトユーザーですが、感情移入して泣いたこともある大好きな作品です！

正直マスターコレクションはあまり期待していませんでしたが、良い意味で裏切られました。

まだまだやり始めたところですが、自分はシナリオブックやマスターブックなどに作品に対する愛を感じました。

作品としてもう一度プレイ出来る機会を与えてもらえたことに感謝です！

Vol.2やΔも待ってます！

懐かしくて落涙。
25年くらい前の自分をいちいち思い出しつつプレイ。
25年前は楽々できてたことが今できんくなってたり。
クリアしたのでできないわけないとか思いながら、どうやってたっけとか思いながらやってる。
逆に、苦労したポイントが、数十年たって知恵がついて楽に倒せたりとか。
以前は攻略サイトや動画なんかなかったな。
画質がいいからゲームが面白いとは思っていない自分。
昨今の、ラスボス倒してもまだ続くエンディングのないゲームに抵抗があり、この1本はマジうれしい。
●ボタン×ボタンの違いとか、脳トレと思ってる。
