格ゲーといえば「コマンド入力を覚えるのが面倒」「覚えても上手く入力できない」といったハードルがあります。自分は子供のころ、一生懸命コマンドを覚えて、自分より上手い友達に勝とうと必死でした。でも最近、コマンド入力が面倒すぎて、格ゲーを毛嫌いしていました。でも、「ストリートファイター6」は違います。初心者でも遊びやすいよう、徹底的に考えられています。まず、先ほど挙げたコマンド入力。必殺技はボタン 1 つ2つで繰り出せるようになっているので、コマンド入力をほとんど覚える必要がありませんし、入力ミスもありません。さらに、操作方法を「ダイナミックタイプ」に変えれば、AIが状況に応じた最適な技をオートで繰り出してくれます。なので、いわゆる「ガチャプレイ（ボタンを適当に押す）」をする必要がありません。もちろん、操作方法を変えれば、従来のようなコマンド入力でプレイすることも可能です。次に、「アドバンテージ」での調整。アドバンテージとは、相手との実力差を埋めるためのバランス調整機能のことで、攻撃力を高めたり、体力の自動回復ができるようになります。5段階で調整できるので、この機能を使えば、どんなに相手が強くても難なく勝てることができます。このように、初心者でも遊びやすいような配慮がされているのが素晴らしいと思いました。強い人と弱い人が対等に遊べるように進化しています。このおかげで、敷居の高い格ゲーを、カジュアルに楽しめました。
