見た目やクリア時間を考えるとファミコン~スーパーファミコン世代向き。ダウンロード版だとセール時に価格は逆転することもあるが、メーカーで検索しても探すのが面倒なのでパッケージで出してくれるのが楽でいい。

現在の日本ファルコムみたいにほぼRPGしか出していないが、コンセプトは真逆すぎて割り切り方がある意味すごい。他の多く昔からのメーカーと違い致命的なバグなどは起きないはずなので更新データ待ちということもほぼない。ベースのゲームエンジンが同じなのかもしれないが。

仕事が忙しく、クリアまで100時間とかかかると頑張っても3ヶ月、下手すると半年は終わらないので時間のとれないプレイヤー向けではある。まさかのVol.1終了かと思っていたのでVol.3までは注文した。

あとは3DSなどで発売されている同名タイトルっぽいのがシリーズ物で別のゲームだというなら3DSコレクションとかにして発売してほしいものである。3DSのDL販売も終わるのと本体寿命的な関係で。

2はそれをはるかに超えるおもしろさを感じた。序盤からいきなり最強レベルくらいにパーティー強いから、まさかこのままラストまで行くのかと思いきや、異常気象が発生している第三の世界に神の力によって飛ばされた時に、パワーのほとんどを失ってしまい、HPもレベルも1に近い状態からスタート・・・しかし、笑ったのが、序盤からすでに船を手に入れられるから自由度高すぎて、シナリオを無視した島に入ると、一撃で150000〜250000くらいダメージを喰らうザコ敵など現れて、これから戦うボスよりおそらくはるかに強いんだろうな・・・と思ったのと、オープニングの時のレベル95〜でもたぶん勝てないだろうなと感じた。あと、ファイナルファンタジー4のエブラーナ王エッジの部下か、ファイナルファンタジー6のカイエンみたいな顔した敵出てくるから、それがラスボスかな？と思わせといて、実はそのキャラが良いキャラを演じてきた妖精のいいなりにされていたとは・・・なかなか展開が読みにくいおもしろさだと思った。あと、アスディバインハーツ 1も非常にカッコいいBGMだと思ったが、2は胸にしみじみ来るような美しい曲が非常に多い。レベル200くらい上げておもての最終ボスと、裏ボス倒せたけど、裏ボスよりはるかに強いのが、ゲーム序盤に出てくるパックマンみたいな形した島に出てくるザコ敵と、その南あたりの島にいる妖精たち。
