It didn't come as a box set.
I don't know why, but I received 3 separate Blu-ray boxes instead of the box pictured in the product image. I would have liked the actual box to hold them all together, as that's part of the reason for buying a box set. I'm hoping I'm not missing out on anything, so now I have to go and investigate whether that is the case or not, because it very well may be. I love the series, so no judgement there, but I technically didn't get what I ordered, and if it turns out I'm missing out on some content, I'll have to send it back.

    Star Trek Discovery Seasons 1-3. I am glad to be able to find these discs as I enjoy collecting series which I have ties to.... I am a trekkie from the get go and I have found that while Discovery was very enjoyable the story lines were convoluted and it is one of the series that can be watched more than once.

    I am sorry that this series of Star Trek ended because in Start Trek: Discovery there were such powerful women in it. Even the backstory of the costumes designs were originated by a woman of color.
    I enjoyed the storylines, the imagery, the background music and of course the actors. To be able to speak a language that doesn't exist, to convey a story that isn't real and to portray a character that was formed in someone else's imagination can't be easy.
    It's a good buy if you're a Trekkie fan. Enjoy!

    Un cofanetto inclusivo delle tre stagioni uscite sino ad ora di questa nuova serie dell'universo di Star Trek,e ad un prezzo al momento più conveniente che l'acquisto delle stagioni singolarmente. Una serie interessante e fresca,anche se personalmente,pur apprezzandola,non riesce a piacermi come altre del suo brand. Un prodotto comunque ottimo e che consiglio sia a chi ama il brand,sia a chi semplicemente adora la buona fantascienza.

    This is not the Star Trek of the original series (1966--so long ago), the Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Enterprise, Voyager, Picard, the many original cast films or the recent Chris Pine adventures---they are all excellent and I own them, revisiting those captivating adventures often. (Well, the exception is the first Star Trek movie which was to say the least, disappointing.) Discovery is a new journey and in many ways the best. The characters are intriguing, the special effects breath taking, the stories riveting. As a child of the Winston SF series of the 50s, Robert Heinlein. Arthur Clarke and Isaac Asimov (and a host of others) ---it is reinvigorating to experience the wonder and thrill of those days again. Buy it. Enjoy it. Six stars if possible!! On to New Worlds!
