ブルーレイボックスが出てから、全話一気見しようと販売を心待ちしていたアラフォーおっさんのレビューです。
金額に関しては、全編＋映像特典＋ボックス＆ブックレット付きなので文句無し。
ただし、ワルキューレエディションと銘打っているだけあって、ブックレットの大半がワルキューレ絡み（写真・インタビュー・CD情報等）。
個人的には、各話の解説やメカ関連・物語設定あたりをブックレットの方が良かったです。
アニメ作品自体が好きな者としては、ワルキューレの歌い手さんの写真やらなんやらはあまり興味が無いので（全く無いという訳では無いですが）、別の商品で出してもらいたかった所。
後、特典ディスクを取り出す部分を開くのに難儀したので書いておきます。プラ部分にPULLって書いてあるんですが、最初うんともすんともいわないレベルの固さだったので結構焦りました。

本編に関してですが、歴代のつながりがしっかりしていて、更には普通にマクロスしていたので面白かったです。
序盤の1話と2話は合わなかったので、「オッサンになったらマクロスも完全に卒業かな～」とか思ってたんですが、3話から一気にドはまりました。
個人的な評価ですが、物語としては良作の部類で、演出に関しては歴代最高の部類と感じました。
マクロスフロンティアも見事な演出でしたが、本作では音楽の入り方や使い方、バトルとの兼ね合い等々、見事に一段上のクオリティに仕上がってました。

本作中において、やっとこさ初代のエピローグ（メガロード１絡み）の確信に触れる要素が出てき始めたので、お爺ちゃんになる前には、マクロス作品の結末を見届けてすっきり出来るかな…無理か？

ブックレットには作品としての世界観やメカ設定、特典映像にはノンクレジットOP、EDなどが欲しかったです。

今更ながらワルキューレのライブこのBoxの特典映像で初めて観ました。
本当にスゴかったです。
私はライブCDやBlu-rayはCDと違う歌い方をしてるのであまり好きじゃありません。
けどワルキューレのライブはあれだけCDと同じように歌える人達は観た事ありません。
口パク？と疑いましたがちゃんと歌ってました。
本当にスゴいです。

2016 1st live 完全版は有料配信がもう終わってしまってるためもう観れません(泣)
