本商品『カトリーエイルと大富豪の陰謀DX+』は「～DX」に有料DLC「DX⇒DX+アップグレードパック」（音声をTVアニメ版キャストに変更）を追加したもの、と記載されています。
つまり、本製品を購入した場合、有料DLCは購入する必要はありません。
ところが起動時タイトル画面に「ニンテンドーeShop」という選択肢があり、接続すると有料DLCの購入に誘導されます。
DLCの内容は上記アップグレードパック（800円）であり、これを選択しないとDX+にはアップグレードできないとされています。
まさに「は？」という感じです。
最初、DLCがセットになっていると思ったが、DLC部分は別途DLパッチを充てる形式なのか、と思わず選択しそうになりましたが
「いやいやこれ有料になってるじゃん」と最後の決定を押すタイミングで慌ててBボタンで戻り「まさかDX+を買ったはずが無印DXを買ったのか」とか、パッケージやら商品説明やらを読み直しました。
結論としては「DLCは普通に購入できます」が「購入する必要は一切ありません！」
購入しなくてもDLC相当の内容は含まれており、ゲーム開始後に選択できるようになります。
が、あまりにも導線がいやらしく危険に過ぎます。むしろ間違って購入させてやろうとしているかのようです。
そもそもタイトルから何から作り直しているのですから、タイトル画面にeShopの選択を置いておく意味がありません（上記の他にDLCコンテンツはない）。
仮にeShopにつながったとして、DLCを購入済扱いにするなり（DXとは別タイトルなのだから）DX専用のDLCは対象外にしておけば良いだけの話です。
無意味にDLCを買ってしまった人はどうなるのでしょうか（もちろんeShopは返品・返金は効きません）
こんな詐欺まがいの商法をとる時点で、作品内容がどれほど素晴らしくとも☆1個にせざるを得ません。非常に残念です。

レイトンシリーズは初プレイです。
パズル的なゲームを淡々こなしたくて購入しました。パズル部分はちょっとぬるいくらいで、まぁ全年齢と考えれば仕方ないが、パズルに行くまでのストーリーが長くてダレます。
