Cotton's upgrade is just great. The original game was already very good but with the combo system set in addition and the graphics upgrade, this Cotton becomes a safe value on Switch.

シューティングゲームが好きで、大体のシューティングはやってきましたがコットンシリーズは今回が初体験。

個人的にぶるにゃんマンのような女の子が主人公のシューティングが好きなので見た目は十分でした。

まずは原作モードからやってみましたが、Switchのコントローラーでボタン連打はかなり疲れますね。でも音楽、内容共に充実。

変わってアレンジモードは連射があるので楽ちん。音楽アレンジも個人的には良い感じ、エフェクトも派手になったおかげで爽快感もあり。
コンテニューしまくれるので、何も考えずプレーできてとにかく楽しい。

１日一回やりたくなるという他の方のレビューに同意です。
自分のようなシューティング初心者でも楽しめると思います。

コットンアーケード版より30年。月日が流れるのは早い。思い出にたっぷり浸って、限定版を購入しました。このタイトルを購入する方は、コットンをプレイしたことがないなんて人はいないと思うが、初見の方はいるのでしょうか?アーケード版のアレンジではなく、X68k版のアレンジ版。どう考えてもマニア層の期待を裏切らない設定でなければならなかったと思うが、オリジナルのよい部分を残したまま、現代風にアレンジされておりよかった。

しかし、X68k版ではアーケード版と比較して、ステージボスとPS1版と同じくエンディングアニメ(?)が存在する程度の差異との認識だったが、なぜアーケード版ではなかったのだろうか?この点は残念だった(X68kモードも完全移植のように思えたが、アイキャッチの台詞がドットフォントではなく、アレンジモードと同様にスケーラブルだったのは違和感があった)。

アレンジモードは告知CMのとおり、ド派手な得点が売りのジュエフィーバが目新しかった。思った以上にシューティングの爽快感が味わえる。若干、攻撃が視にくくなるが、当たり判定がやさしく設定されているのか、あまり神経質になることはなかった。その他、連射や無限コンティニュー、クリスタルが透ける点などオールドゲーマにも配慮した調整は好感が持てた。

また購入前から期待していた、2分間のタイムアタックもよかった。アレンジモードと内容は基本同じ設定だったが、より高得点を目指すため魔法やジュエフィーバの使い方に工夫がいる点に戦略性がある。タイムアタックで得たテクニックをアレンジモードにフィードバックすることで、アレンジモードでの高得点ランニングも狙える点も楽しい。(タイムアタックは初日のプレイで100位以内に入ったが・・・参加者が少ない?)

一日楽しめばほぼ収録コンテンツは堪能できてしまうが、ここは限定版(特にCDとポップがいい)を購入しとことんコットン漬けになるのが、このタイトルの楽しみ方と思う。

『魔界村』のレッドアリーマーを倒せた覚えのない私が、設定をちょっとつつくだけで、一時間で全クリア。
――そりゃ残機9、その場でコンティニューだったらなあ。
ちなみにレベルは「普通」。これでは甘口は必要ないのでは？
でもやりこむ人はやりこめるだろうなあ。
ラスボスなんて、死なないでクリアできる方法なんて判らない。
まさに初心者から上級者まで。
クリア後のキャラ変更も嬉しい。
とにかく楽しいシューティングゲーム。

「コットン」と言えば過去に発売された様々なコンシューマ版では「生産数が希少で超プレミアム価格で出されている」というイメージがありますが、今回の「〜リプリート」では初めて手に入れた「コットン」です。
ゲーム自体は一度やったらやみつきになるぐらいの面白さがいっぱいあります。
二つのモードで二倍以上のボリュームは勿論、タイムアタックモード、難易度と残機数設定、可愛い声が聞こえるフルボイス、美しい画面等やりどころと見どころ満載です。
今回手に入れた限定版は間違いなく過去のコンシューマ版同様、かなりのプレミア価格で出される確率が高いと思いますが自分では初めてのコットンなので大事にしたいです。

これめっちゃ楽しい。攻めのシューティングゲームですね、アドレナリンいっぱい出ます。
毎日アレンジモード一周してタイムアタック何回かやるのが日課です。
システム理解してからが本番ですね。

昔プレイしたハドソンのPCエンジン版を越えることを期待して購入しましたが、アレンジ曲が酷すぎてプレイする気が起きません。
サントラを視聴した時点で、泣きたくなりました。
今は、PCエンジン版の曲を聴きながら、心の傷を癒しています。
プレイするときは、X68K版の曲でのプレイをお薦めします。
