This release, under Disney's Japanese MovieNEX label, contains the best version of 2019's The Lion King: the Japanese dub. The celebrity cast of the original release didn't do a very good job (a couple names aside), and the Japanese performances are much more convincing. The only unfortunate aspect of this release is that the subtitles are actually for the original English audio. They probably match the Japanese translation in some scenes, but unless you speak Japanese, there's no way to know how much of the dialogue has been rewritten rather than given a straightforward translation.
