中身は美麗で付属品まできっちり梱包材で梱包されていたところに丁寧さを感じました。使ってみた感じ今までのHDDよりコンパクトで、外に持ち運びできる程軽量小型。1TBで1万円以内。お得な買い物できたと満足しています。なお、写真向かって右側が今回購入したbuffalo1TBSSD、左が10数年前に買った同じbuffaloの1TBHDDです。大きさからして違うのに同じ容量です。技術の進歩って凄いですね。

以前同社の外付けハードディスクを使用していたが、本体のUSBコネクタ接続部がユルく、使っているうちに机の振動でも接触不良を起こすようになって困った経験があった。

その部分が改良されたとあったが、確かに従来より短辺方向には動かなくなったが、まだ長辺方向には少しガタがあり長期使用には不安が残る。

仕事用Macで、Time Machineによる常時バックアップで使用しています。

フルリモートワークで24時間365日ずっと電源入れっぱなし、つまりTime Machineも1時間毎に動きっぱなしの使い方をしていますが特に問題なく動作しています。

が、私のような使い方をしていると3年弱で壊れると思います。

2021年12月末に購入した同製品は、2024年8月1日に突然バックアップ書込不可＆読み込み専用というエラーが発生して使い物にならなくなりました。

ハードな使い方で3年弱耐えたので充分といえば充分です。普通の使い方ならまず5年以上は使える製品でしょうということで再度買い直して使っています。これは私の利用方法の問題なので、製品が不良品だとかそういったことではないと思います。

同じようにTimeMachineで常時バックアップを目的としている方は、一つの目安にしていただけると幸いです。

買った後に明らかにおかしい(データをこのssdに送る時フリーズする等)と感じて調べてみたらryzenとの相性が悪いとホームページに載ってあった。こちらにはその情報が掲載されていない為気をつけて欲しい。

訂正。この商品番号をコピーしGoogleで検索した所、公式から対策用のダウンロードシステムがありそれをダウンロードしたらバグ(フリーズ)が治った。あまり機器に詳しくないため拙い文章になってしまってるが、とりあえず購入して1日目は問題ない。今後変化があれば追加して書いていく
