悪魔城ドラキュラシリーズ全てやってますが、2〜3周してもいいくらいは飽きない。

この手のゲームは普段はやらないのですが横スクロールのゲームが恋しくなって思い切って購入しました。
結果買って良かったと思います。
評判が良いのは分かっていたので不安はなかったですがそれでも想定以上にハマりました。

よくメトロイドヴァニアとは言いますがこのジャンルの殆どの作品はメトロイドよりの作品が多くRPG要素は控え目です。そしてアクションの難易度は高め。
そうなると自分の様なアクションへたっぴプレイヤーはかなり苦しむのですが、
このゲームはキャラクターの強化成長要素が多く、しかも適度に「ズル」も出来ますので工夫次第で下手な人でも進める事が出来ると思います。
一部凝ったギミックが用意されていて少し詰まりましたが、
「ひょっとしたら」と思い試してみるとそれがビンゴだったりしてそれも楽しかったです。
個人的にはこういう謎解き要素も多いともっと楽しめましたが、
あまりあのレベルのギミックを連発するとゲームのテンポが悪くなるのでこれぐらいで良かったか。

難点としては収集要素がメインのコンテンツになる為にドロップ目的で雑魚を何度も狩るのですが
その過程でレベルが上がり過ぎてしまう事。結果後半になればなるほどボスで苦戦しなくなってしまう。プレイヤースキルやゲームの進め方によっては一番最初のボスが一番強かったと感じる人すらいるかもしれない。
レベル制は初心者救済要素であると同時にプレイヤー側で調整しないとヌルゲーを発生させてしまう諸刃の剣と改めて認識した次第。
この辺りの調整は本当に難しいと思いますが敵からの経験値はもっと抑えても良かったかもしれない。
一応ハードクリアで更に上の難易度が解放されるのでクリア後ではあるが物足りなかったという人にも対応していると思う。たぶん。（当方未プレイ

装備品やシャード(付け替えできる魔法)がかなり多く、ともすれば雑多ではあるが多種多様なプレイスタイルを提供していると思う。
大剣の様なリーチと攻撃範囲に優れた武器で手堅く立ち回っても良し。
攻撃速度の速い武器で回復アイテム挟みながらゴリ押ししても良し。
特定の場面で有効なシャードでボスをハメ殺しても良し。
MP回復速度を鍛えつつ消費MPを抑える装備品＋INT強化等ならシャードオンリーでも。
武器にも奥義という必殺技が設定されていて使いづらい物もあるがこれをメインにした戦法も可能。
そしてそれらの組み合わせで各プレイヤー毎に最適解は違ってくるというのは良いゲームの証拠。
特にシャードはこれそのものにもレベルがあり高レベル時には別次元の強さになる物もあり
強くする楽しみがある。
地味に思えたシャードも最終強化まですると化け物になったりするので自分なりに試してみて欲しい。
そして強化しなければ進められないという難易度でもないのでレベリング等の作業が嫌な人は普通に進めても多少苦戦はするだろうが何度かリトライすれば問題なくクリア可能。
寧ろ最初のプレイではそうやって無策で突っ込んだ方が楽しめると思う。
そしてどうしても無理なら一度引き返し装備の更新やシャードの厳選、各種回復アイテムの用意、
その過程でレベルも上がるのでクリアの水準に到達するはず。

総評するとかなり間口の広いゲームデザインをしていてほぼ万人に薦められるゲームだと思った。
ただこの手のゲームを古臭いと感じる人間には少し厳しい部分もあると思います。
主にアクション周りとそのレスポンスはレトロゲーに近いものがあるので。
ちなみにBGMも全編に渡って素晴らしい出来でした。特に禁忌地下水洞は癒されます。

ほぼ星5の評価ですが武器間の優劣や一部死にシャードが存在するので星4.7ぐらいの評価でしょうか。
武器は一部除いて趣味の領域にはあると思えますが、シャードには数合わせで存在しているなと感じるものもあったのでほんの少しだけ減点です。
次回作も開発中の様で楽しみですが全モンスターに固有シャードは無理があったと思うので同系統の敵ではコンパチにする等して整理した方が良いのではと思いました。

この手のゲームが最近少なくなってきていたが、まだまだやれる！需要もある！ということで
かつての悪魔城ドラキュラの製作者が会社を立ててリリースしたものです。
（ただ、そういった事情だともうコナミから新作はでないのかな・・・）
メトロイドや月下の夜想曲なんかが楽しめたひとは十分楽しめる作品です。

・処理落ち
　小さな敵が多数＋常時動いているギミックあり　の場所だと
　素人でもわかるレベルで処理落ちする。

・バグや強制終了の報告があり、根本的なプログラムに問題が見受けられそう。
　よって、そういう先入観でプレイしているため、攻略が詰まった時に
　必要なアイテムが手に入らないバグか何か起きてない？と疑心暗鬼になる。

・ボス戦が盛り上がらない。
　行動パターン把握してってのは高難易度アクションとしては定石だが、
　戦闘自体が大味になりすぎてゴリ押しの殴り合いになってしまう。
　
　こちらとの間合いや行動で駆け引きする系ではない。
　淡々とプログラムに従って動いている感じ。

　低評価の方々が指摘するような、当たり判定の曖昧さ、回避が後ろ方向のみという仕様
　等々の複合も相まって。

よって、今評価されているアクションゲームのイイところも取り入れてほしかった所。

探索自体は面白く、アクションも軽快さ、爽快感はあり、
背景の綺麗さ(終焉の間、空や月の表現など)は良い。
3Dでの描写を2Dっぽく表現しているので、それらを応用した特殊能力等もイイ。

ただ、オリジナルイラスト、キャラクターデザインの雰囲気を
3Dで表現できていないのが非常に残念。

ファン待望のメトロイドヴァニアの登場であり、本格的な横スクロールのアクションを楽しむことの出来る作品でもある。
今回はそんなこのゲームを詳しくレビューしてみたい。

ゲームのポイント
失われていないメトロイドヴァニア感
·徐々に新しい力を手に入れて、探索出来るエリアを広げて行くゲームスタイルは健在で、非常に続きがきになる作品に仕上がっていると思う
巧みな行けるところの見せ方
·行けると見せて注意を引き、プレイヤーをゲームの中に引き入れる演出が上手く、ついついプレイを続けさせてしまう

·ゲームバランス
アクションが苦手な人にでも装備品のドロップやシャードのドロップで何とかなる難易度は好感が持て、ゲームプレイはメトロイドヴァニア+ハックアンドスラッシュ的
·探索要素
主に城を舞台に探索をして行くようになり、行けそうなところを新たな能力を手に入れたら試して行くと言うもの
そこには数多の謎がひしめいている

良かった点
·前作の名作悪魔城ドラキュラX -月下の夜想曲-のように、とても安心して楽しめるゲームプレイを提供してくれたこと
·プレイヤーを引き込むゲームスタイル
探索要素と装備品収集要素とプレイヤーキャラクターの成長要素のバランスがとても良く出来ていて、ただ普通にゲームをプレイしているだけでも楽しめる
ストーリよりも、先ずはゲームとしてなんぼ
·ストーリーは二の次で、根本的なゲームプレイで楽しませてくれる、今では珍しくなったゲーム体験を与えてくれる

残念な点
·グラフィックが休ハード以下
どんなゲームにも言えるのだが、グラフィックはゲームの良し悪しを決める決定的なものではなく、良いゲームと言われるもののプラス要素だと思う
ただ、やっぱり好きなゲームなら、グラフィックも良くあってほしいと思うものである
·自由度の欠如とコマ切りのステージ
謎=進むべき場所で、怪しい場所の総当たりで進めてしまうマップ
もっと自由度をプレイヤーに与えて悩ませてほしいと思ってしまった
また、各ステージは先に進むにつれて、その規模が小さくなり、これだけの数のステージが果たして必要だったのかと疑問になる
·アイデアの煮詰まっていないシャードシステム
今作で新たに採用されたシャードシステムも、大きな粗だけが目立つ作りになっている
特に攻撃シャードはその種類だけ多く、どれを使おうか迷う有り様
もっともっと数を絞って解り易くするべきだと思った。
更に、攻撃シャードを掛け合わせて新しい強力なシャードが作れるともっと良かった

残念な点はどれも許容範囲で、2019年を代表するゲームに私の中ではなった。
総体的にとても楽しめた作品で、リプレイ性も高く、初周プレイは程々に楽しむのをお薦めしたい。
2019年に発売されたゲームの中では、人にお薦めしても問題のない作品だと言える。
