フォールアウト・ニューベガスのスタジオが手掛けたゲームという事で以前から気になっていました。機会があったのでプレイ。確かにゲームの雰囲気がフォールアウトに似ています。コチラはＳＦ寄りですが。個人的にはフォールアウトとボーダーランズを合体させた様な雰囲気のゲーム。マップや画質はボーダーランズの様な感じ。登場するキャラクターはフォールアウトみたいな感じですかね。武器も少し似てるかもしれません。個性的な近接武器もあります。敵に関しては特にフォールアウトっぽさは感じませんでした。コンパニオンは2人まで連れて行く事が可能。コンパニオン同士で喋ったりクエストの会話に参加してきたり連れて行った方が楽しくなります。武器や防具には耐久値が設定されていますが修理可能。耐久値はそれほど気になりませんでした。レベルが上がるとステータスをどれに振り分けるか選ぶ事が可能。スキルポイントを使って新しいスキルを収得する機能も搭載。さすがにＶ.Ａ.Ｔ.Ｓはありませんでした。ただ、時間の流れを緩やかにする事なら出来ます。ＦＰＳによくありますよね。ストーリーは選択肢が豊富。自由度は比較的高いと思います。マップはオープンワールドではありません。エリア別となっています。ファストトラベル地点が多くて便利なのですがロードが長い。PS5でもロードが長い。それが気になりました。それともう1つ。これはあくまで個人的な感想ですがストーリーがつまらなかった。クリアはしましたが途中飽きてしまいました。クリア時間は約12時間。メインクエストのみだと10時間も掛からずクリア可能だと思われます。サイドクエストをこなしてもそこまで長くは遊べないでしょうね。選択肢の多いゲームなので周回プレイして違ったストーリーを楽しむ事は可能だと思います。人によってはハマるゲームでしょう。フォールアウトとボーダーランズが好きな人なら楽しめるかもしれません。気になってる方はプレイしてみて下さい。決してつまらないゲームではありません。ストーリーも良く出来てると思いますよ。ただ、自分にはこのゲームのストーリーは退屈に感じました。

[良かった点]
キャラメイクできる。美男美女も作れる。
どこでもセーブできる。
マルチエンディング。
自分の選択によって敵対勢力や友好的な勢力が変わる。クエストの結果も変わる。
コンパニオンが6人いて2人連れて歩ける。
ちゃんと探索すれば弾はたくさん入手できるので銃が撃ち放題。
ほぼ全員殺せるらしい。試してないけど。
ノーマルなら難しすぎず簡単すぎず丁度良い難易度。
スタミナがないのでずっとダッシュしつづけられる。
入手できるアイテムが水色に光るので分かりやすい。最初はアイテムにかなり近づかないと光らないが、5m以内のアイテムを光らせるスキルを取る、もしくはその効果があるアイテムを防具につけると探索がかなり快適になる。
フリーズやアプリケーションエラーが1度もなかった。これはスゴい。

[気になった点]
マップで目的地を設定できない。
マップでカーソルが変な動きをする。
エリア切り替えすると何故かしまっていた武器を構えるので、またしまわなきゃいけないのが面倒。
コンパニオンに待機指示を出してもハッキングをしたり遠く離れたりすると走って近寄ってくるのがウザい。
物を取るボタンと武器を構えるボタンが同じなので物を取ろうとしてミスって武器を構えてしまうのがウザい。
コンパニオンとのロマンスなし。
ライトがないので暗い所や夜は視界が悪い。

探索やマルチエンディングが好きな人にオススメです。

ちょこちょこサブクエをこなしながらでもクリアまでわずか12時間。このボリュームの無さよ

クエストはおつかい要素が強く往復移動を強いられるが、建物に入る時等のロードが長いのでテンポが悪い

敵の攻撃が痛くこちらの防御も低いので、戦闘は仲間２人連れてなんとかというバランス

武器種も敵の種類も4〜5ほどしかなく変化に乏しい

オートセーブが建物に入る直前とかしか無いので不便だが、クイックセーブが無くセーブが非常に面倒

明らかに作り込み不足で全てが中途半端と言う他ない
中古で1000未満で売られるのも納得の中身の無さ

狭すぎる宇宙…。

最初の警備二人との会話辺りまで、それはそれはかなり今後が楽しみで仕方なかった。
しかし進めて行くと狭いマップばかり、敵もこれといって記憶に残らない。
3種類ぐらいしかいない。

会話は棒立ち…。
もう今の時代、会話シーンはドラマ調でなければ臨場感がない。

探索が絶望的。
クエスト以外でいく場所がほぼ無い状態…。

全てスキルで解決出来すぎてだれる。
これは目玉だが…多すぎるのも考えもの。

途中から感じる惑星移動→アクション→降りる→ロード→ファストトラベル→ロードが苦痛。

メインのイベントのすばらしい新世界までクエストを進めるとロード画面でセーブデータをロードできずフリーズします。結局ネット環境がないと最後までシナリオを進めることができないのかと落胆した(-_-;)

洋ゲーはほぼPLAYしない、FPS嫌いなライトゲーマーですが、SFや宇宙船が大好きなので興味を持っていました。
そんな時４gamerで「NPCのパーティキャラがいる事」「時間を停止してエイム出来る仕様がある事」「自由度がものすごく高い事」を知り、これなら出来るかもと買ってみました。
結果、人生で２個目（汗）のプラチナトロフィーを取るほどにハマったゲームとなりました！

個人的に特に良かったのは、
・自由度がロマサガの比ではないので、SF世界で「アウトローな船長ごっこ」が楽しめる！ENDINGまで一貫して「ごっこ遊び」を演出してくれます。
・ディストピアなのにノリが明るく（＝いい意味で頭悪い人ばかり）、洋ゲーにしてはカラフルで明るめの背景グラフィックで、気分が悪くならない。
・世界観が緻密に作られている。情報量が半端ない。ちょっとしたどうでもいい人の設定も拘って作られていて製作者の愛を感じます。
・NPCのPTキャラが結構早めに強くなるので、自分は指示だけで戦闘は仲間まかせのエラソーな船長ごっこプレイが可能（ステ振りや装備次第）。最高難易度も仲間の強化最優先で難なくクリアできます。
・NPCのPTキャラが色々勝手にボヤいてる（音声あり）ので、廃墟とか洞窟とかでも、ボッチ怖い寂しい～～みたいな事も無し！←コレ重要

逆にダメな点は、
・色々と作りが荒っぽくバグも多い。
　海外のAAAタイトルが日本のFFだとすれば、こういう荒っぽい部分もOuter Worldsは日本のロマサガのイメージ。

細かいことは気にしない！自由にやりたいSF世界好きの方にオススメです！最高に楽しいゲームです！

次回作は宇宙船を操縦してシームレスに星に降下できる仕様で作って欲しい！

-あらすじ-
長い冷凍睡眠から目覚めた主人公が星々を旅し、そこに住む様々な勢力に影響を与えていく...みたいなお話

-良い点-
1. 完全なシームレスのオープンワールドではないのもあってか、バグが少なく、ロードも短め
2. 日本語字幕がよく出来ている（たまに機械翻訳っぽいの箇所も見られるが）
3. 映像が綺麗
4. クエスト内での選択肢が幅広い、没入感がある

-悪い点-
1. メインストーリーが短い（15時間程度？）
2. コンパニオン関連のクエストが薄味（コンパニオンが強力なだけに残念）
3. ステータスを含めたキャラメイクの自由度は少ない（逆に始めやすいメリットとも言える？）
4. 武器の種類が少ない割に薬物や食べ物の種類が多い（グレネード的な投げ物も無い）

-どちらとも言えない点-
1. ハクスラ要素がない
-> 武器掘り作業が無いので素直にストーリーに集中できる？
2. 会話や読み物が長い
-> よく読まないとクリアできなかったり、期待した結果にならない
3. クエストの結果をより良くするなら会話スキル高くする必要がある
-> 戦闘スキル（特に防御系）が死にがち、逆に口八丁なキャラが好きなら楽しめるかも
