以前、ネットフリックスで放映されていて見て心に響くメッセージが幾つかあったので、もう一度観たくて、購入しました。

それぞれのキャラクターが違うので、観る人それぞれに自分に近いキャラクター、自分の今の社会的立場とかと照らして観る事が出来ると思いますので、スケボーに興味がある人にも、新しいチャレンジをチームとかユニットで進めようとしている人には、刺さる映画だと思います。

個人的には今現在、社会的にゼロイチを担当しているのでロドニー・ミューレンとトニー・ホークの言葉やそれを言う時の表情に感化される所が多かったです。

人それぞれに見方は異なるかも知れませんが、それぞれに響く映画だと思います。

カッコ良いし面白かったけどスティーヴ・ロコのドキュメンタリー映画を観た後だったので内容がとても綺麗過ぎるなぁと思いました。「パンクな格好するな！」とか裏では言われてた(確かマイク・ヴァレリーが言ってました。それで嫌になって辞めたとか。)みたいなので、そのあたりの裏話みたいなのがもっとあれば良かったと思いました。実際、キャバレロやゲレロはパンク・バンドやってたので興味があります。
何はともあれ貴重な記録ではあるので必見と言えます。

特にロドニーミューレンの話し方に吸い込まれていきます。
哲学者のような情景が浮かぶような話。

感動しました。素直に。メンバー個人のストーリーに感情移入してジーンときました。私は中年になってからスケボーを始めました。今の職業は手のケガが怖くてスポーツを長いあいだ避けていましたが、どうしてもスケボーがやりたくてスケボーすることにしました。以前はアパレル業界で仕事をしていました。アパレル（服）➡︎藤原ヒロシ➡︎トミー・ゲレロ➡︎ボーンズ・ブリゲードって感じでこの作品にたどり着きました。観てよかったです。Dogtown&Z-Boysとよく似た手法で、メンバーとチームのストーリーが描かれています。リアルストーリーです。スケボーのヒストリーも知ることができます。ヒストリーを知るとスケボーやってることが誇りに思えてきます。ある雑誌のあるスケボーブランドの広告で、「なんでキャンプとスケボーがセットになってんのかなあ？」と思いましたが、この作品を観て納得しました。

当時の映像をシンクロさせつつ主要メンバーから吐き出される言葉は様々なコンプレックスや心の葛藤、不安などに溢れているが、これらこそがアグレッシブ過ぎる程に技術を高め、歴史を変える技を生み出した原動力であると再確認できる貴重なドキュメンタリー。とりあえずアニマル・チンを観た事無い人はこれ観るだけでも充分お釣りが来る。本編ではスパイク・ジョーンズやベン・ハーパーもシャウトアウト。それにしてもトニー・アルヴァとクリスチャン・ホソイは、それなりの年齢であろう今でも最高にカッコイイ！

Rodney Mullen is a genius and some people are not aware of this. He invented so many tricks.
