【ストーリー】
高校時代のクラスメイト・山内桜良(浜辺美波)の言葉をきっかけに母校の教師となった【僕】(小栗旬)。
彼は、教え子と話すうちに、彼女と過ごした数ヶ月を思い出していく―。
膵臓の病を患う彼女が書いていた「共病文庫」(=闘病日記)を偶然見つけたことから、
【僕】(北村匠海)と桜良は次第に一緒に過ごすことに。
だが、眩いまでに懸命に生きる彼女の日々はやがて、終わりを告げる。
桜良の死から12年。
結婚を目前に控えた彼女の親友・恭子(北川景子)もまた、【僕】と同様に、桜良と過ごした日々を思い出していた―。
そして、ある事をきっかけに、桜良が12年の時を超えて伝えたかった本当の想いを知る2人-。

私も先天性の病気で大好きだった子がいます。美少女でした。
みんなは病気の事なんか知らないで、その子の群がっていましたが。
彼女字は無事（？）卒業していましたが。あの病気ではよほど運が良くない限り子は望めないでしょう。

これはまるで自分の青春時代を描いたような作品でした。
映画では全く別な原因で亡くなっていましたが。
高校時代に見た、彼女のあの太陽な笑みを思い出さるを得ません。

今は彼女とは音信不通です。幸せになっている事を望みます。

尺が迫って感動のラストかと思わせてそのロケやる？って感じでその線がないことはわかったが
あまりにも理不尽で納得のいかないラストではあるけど
それまでの過程が暖かい

配役としては主人公は二人とも素晴らしく、
浜辺もこれはこの演技は年上を食ってる
京子役は子役もいい味出してるし、北川景子が美人すぎるのはまあいいけど
上池と若い頃のは何があったらこうなるんだよ！って混乱していいところで困るから上池じゃなくて別の配役の方が良かったと思った
