劇場版Blu-rayが発売するということで改めてレンタルDVDを鑑賞していたのですが最近の大きくなったテレビではDVD画質の粗さが目立ってしまう印象でした。調べてみたところ、こちらがありましたので購入することにいたしました。気に入った作品はBlu-rayBOXを購入するというスタンスにしていますゆえ。パッケージに効率よく6枚のディスクが収められているためコンパクトで置き場所に困らないというのは美点ですね。1ディスクに5話入りですので鑑賞時に入れ替えの手間が少ないのも良いです。画質の向上は概ね期待を満たしてくれました。DVDではもやがかかっていたものがBlu-rayではスッキリと晴れて見えます。比較的動きのある作品ですので最近組んだPCのAMDFluidMotionの効果が享受できるところもうれしかったところ。VRとMMORPG、世界観はどストライク。切迫感のある導入部から闘いの日々、スローなテンポのラブストーリー、最終決戦…ライトノベルからのアニメ化では失われがちな芯のあるストーリーがしっかりあり、エピソードのバランスも良く、少し気恥ずかしいシーンもありつつ、楽しく視聴できました。原作が好きな人たちが創ると良い作品が出来上がるという好例ですね。ボリュームも適度にありじっくり楽しめます。

やはり原作に対してアニメは構成が素晴らしい。
