まとめて読もうと思って待っていました。
かつてDIOの配下だったペットショップ。その同類であるオウムを探す依頼を受けたホルホースが飛んだのは空条承太郎が訪れる直前の杜王町。
花京院の従姉妹である涼子。東方仗助。三者の思惑が絡むなか、DIOの記憶が再現される。

第一巻は大変良い雰囲気。
エジプトから日本は第三部の逆の行程であり、それは記憶を遡る本作のテーマでもある。
原作はもっとも原作に近い二次創作『恥知らずのパープルヘイズ』の上遠野浩平。
しっかりと伏線を仕込んだり原作モチーフを自然に馴染ませている。
また、第四部のテーマである町に潜む悪意を物語の構造にしているのもさすがの一言。

全体的に質の高い外伝作品です。ジョジョのスピンオフとしては十分な完成度かと。
舞台は3部の10年後にして、4部の少し（1ヶ月)前の杜王町。新キャラの花京院の従姉妹に加え、3部の元敵キャラ達もチョロっと出てきます。

話の筋も通っているので違和感は無く、普通に楽しめました。ジョジョが好きなら買っても損はしません。

ただ1つ気になる点としては、花京院の死が家族には怪事件として認識されているという設定。SPW財団は疎かジョセフや承太郎も何一つ状況を説明していない事になっています。最終巻で補足があれば良いんですがね...

あと細かいですが、仗助がスタンドという名前をこの時期に知った描写が本編と食い違う
と言う意見。本編では承太郎が一方的に幽波紋云々を説明しただけで、仗助も(んな事ァ知ってるぜ)となれば辻褄が合います。ミスなんかじゃあないです。

時系列的には4部開始前、なので4部の仲間たちはまだ出てきていないのですが（少し期待してます）それでもホルホースやボインゴなど3部のキャラたちが杜王町で活躍するのは読んでて新鮮で面白いです！

ホルホースと仗助が出会うことで原作との間に
設定の矛盾が生じていますが、そもそも原作の方が
設定のアラは盛り沢山なので気にしない方がいいと思います。
それにもしかしたら最後は敵スタンドの攻撃などで
仗助が記憶を失うというオチの可能性もあります。

そんなことよりも上遠野浩平のジョジョ作品第二弾が
この先どのような展開を見せるのか楽しみでたまりません。
