FAQ Related to Campaign

Can’t apply coupon codes successfully?

Coupon codes can be successfully applied when all conditions below are fulfilled:

  1. Physical products sold and delivered by Amazon.co.jp. Gift cards and digital products are not eligible for this promotion.
  2. Total price of items eligible for the campaign in cart are above 8000 yen. All AmazonGlobal orders with shipping addresses outside of Japan are deducted 8% Japan domestic consumption tax. Please make sure the final total amount of products on checkout confirmation page meet the threshold.
  3. Payment is made with an active UnionPay single-branded credit card (usually starts with 62).
  4. Input campaign coupon code correctly. Please access campaign landing page for coupon code. Code has a once per customer limit.

Which products are eligible for the campaign?

Payment with my card didn’t go through?

The campaign code can only be successfully applied with an active UnionPay single-branded credit card (usually starts with 62). Debits cards or UnionPay credit card that does not start with 62 are not eligible for this campaign. Please enter correct card number, card holder name and expiry date. Please also make sure that your card is not subject to any restrictions or locks on overseas transactions during the possible time of order and shipment, and maximum transaction amount per transaction and per day is above your order amount.

Can’t input address?

When registering an address outside of Japan, please first click the “Add an International Address” link above the registry form, and input your address in half-width characters.

What’s the duration of the campaign?

Campaign starts on 10:00 am Japan Time on October 12th, 2017, until 01:00 am Japan Time on November 11th, 2017 or when the maximum cap of codes are exhausted, whichever the earlier. Amazon.co.jp will not make announcement regarding the end time of the campaign in advance but such notice will be given on campaign landing page.

How to participate in the campaign?

To participate in the campaign, purchase campaign eligible items with a total amount of 8000 yen and more on www.amazon.co.jp with a UnionPay single-branded credit card (usually starts with 62), enter the campaign coupon code.

How to claim a coupon code?

A universal coupon code is used in this campaign. Please access campaign landing page for the code. After placing items in cart, proceed to checkout and input the code in “Gift Cards & Promotional Claim Codes” and click “Apply”. Orders that are eligible for the campaign should then show a message saying code successfully applied under the box. If you forgot to apply the code and checked out, then you cannot participate in the campaign again. Codes have a once per customer restriction. Which delivery methods are available for international shipping? How long does it take to ship it to my address?

There are two international shipping options, one is “AmazonGlobal Premium Shipping”, average shipping lead time of this shipping option is around 2-6 business days; and the other is “AmazonGlobal Standard Shipping” , average shipping lead time of this shipping option is around 6-10 business days.

How is “Import Fee Deposit” calculated?

When you purchase with AmazonGlobal, Amazon.co.jp’s partner carrier will clear export and import customs on your behalf. We charge a small deposit for import fee that occurs during that process. If the actual import fee is lower than the deposit, we will refund the discrepancy to your payment account, or if the actual is higher, there will not be any additional charge to you.

Can I track my shipment?

You can access “Your orders” in “Your Account” to track your shipments. Our partner carrier may contact you with information on shipments as well.

Do all products have global warranty?

Can I return/replace the items I bought?

All return/replacements must comply with Amazon.co.jp’s return and replacement policy. Please refer to our help page for more information, or follow the instructions to apply for a return/replacement.
If the return/replacement is not due to Amazon.co.jp’s fault, shipping fees occurred with the return/replacement will be deducted from the refund to you.
If you would like to return a damaged item, we will refund the shipping fee occurred with the return along with the product refund.
