I like the premise and intent of the book. Locke is trying to convey the message that we can find creative outlets for our anger. Ziger is a young tiger who experiences trouble containing his impulse behavior. The other animals of the jungle get annoyed by his bad mood, untidiness and temper tantrums; they take advantage by teasing and annoying Ziger. One day after the monkeys throw bananas at him, Ziger destroys their house in retaliation. Ziger's mother tells him to count to ten and use the app on her new smartphone to draw volcanoes the next time he is angry and frustrated. One day Ziger asks his mom why she is shooting basketballs into a hoop. She replies that is her way of letting off steam when she is angry. To sum up, Ziger is shown ways to control his impulse behavior. Do you think the animals in the jungle will stop teasing him and likewise follow his good example?

This book is a cute way to demonstrate a lesson, but the plot is a little too short on content and the story seems to end abruptly.

This is a fantastic kids book with a cute story, great writing and adorable pictures. I highly recommend this for kids as a bedtime story or a story to read to your child if there has been a behavior problem with temper tantrums.

Read this to my nephew & he really enjoyed it. The pictures & story are cute along with having a good lesson in dealing with anger. This makes a good bedtime story that you can read again & again.
