We are getting a new Border Collie. It's been awhile since we had a puppy but this book is bringing us back to all sorts of things we need to remember. Very well written, easy to understand and ample warning to those who don't realize Border Collies are nearly a new species, not just a special breed of dog, requiring much different upbringing than other breeds.

We've also ordered Your Cat's Life and can't wait to get it. New kitten yesterday so hope it gets here soon! You can never have too much information or too much good advice!

When you're excited about obtaining new animals it pays to have a good book to curl up with with wisdom to help you keep your head.

I hoped for more detailled information about what to feed a Border Collie, how to train him and what specific needs these dogs have.
It turned out that I was already pretty well informed, there was not a lot of new information.
Plus I don't like the writing style, too redundant, it goes on and on without really revealing anything important.
But if you haven't read anything about Border Collies yet, this bóok might be quiete useful.

Decent book on border collies. There's a few instances when I question their information based upon other books I've read, but basically a decent primer.

Great book learned a lot about my dog
