The goal of The Success Hacker is to help people become a better and more positive version of themselves. It's a short compendium of tips on how to acquire good habits, build efficient teams and launch products.
It has nothing to do with ninja tricks or magic beans. It requires taking action to make a change. In line with the book's practical nature, it includes a list of takeaways at the end of each chapter to help you go straight to the point.
The book contains 3 parts:
- Part one is a guide on helping individuals become successful by learning how to be productive. There is a discussion on what being "busy" means and how to manage motivation. It includes a chapter on how to start setting goals and cultivating good habits. Part one concludes with the introduction of the "MIT" concept to end with a practical section about tools.
- Part two focuses on building efficient teams. It starts by identifying common problems and how to solve them. There is a practical chapter dedicated to improving the performance of teams as well as creating a healthy culture.
- Part three covers the complexities of launching a product from scratch. The role of the product manager, the product-discovery journey and the importance of measuring behavior are the main topics discussed.
