With images by extraordinary creators, this full-colour collection showcases an international cadre of creators working in various styles and mediums, both traditional and digital. With art from books, graphic novels, video games, films, galleries, and advertising, it is suitable for clients looking for bright new talent.
In 1993 Arnie Fenner, along with his wife Cathy, combined both their personal and professional interests in the fantastic arts to form Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art-but that has not been the limit of their celebration of the field. They have written, designed, and edited a series of titles devoted to the works of Frank Frazetta, Jeffrey Jones, Jon Foster, Robert E. McGinnis, John Jude Palencar, Dave Stevens, and many others that have been published by Underwood Books. In addition, Arnie serves as a Senior Art Director for Andrews McMeel Publishing.

Generally the images are all extremely engaging and of high quality and there is a mix traditional mediums, digital art, and a section of photographs of sculptural work.
Sometimes the themes can be a little dark and there are some violent images and subject matter...so if you want a book full of sweet little fairly images this probably won't suit you.
There are a few of that type though...and otherwise there are many images throughout this book that will capture your imagination.
As an artist I often find myself going through each book over and over marveling at the imagination, and composition and techniques shown by all the artists represented.
