I’m no Bach expert but this disc makes me want to become one. These intricate sonatas per these subtle performances are a wonder. Mr. Schultz and Mr. Vinokur reassure me as they glide along an invisible line between invention and inevitability. The turns they take in their masterful play of follow-the-leader are full of amazing grace. So, this is the stuff of Bach’s magic! Listen in. I think you'll be enchanted, too.

This is such a rare combination of beautiful musicianship and top-shelf recording technique! Life-changing indeed. By the time I finished listening, the deal was sealed. When I retire I am going to make baroque flutes in my own workshop.

It is truly a treat to be able to listen to such fine musicians with such high quality recording. Stephen and Jory are at the top of their form and play beautifully together. Every time I listen to this CD I enjoy it more. It is really a treat to be able to listen to such beautiful, high quality music. I highly recommend the experience.
