ニールセダカのカムバック後のヒット曲を集めたCDです。かなり名曲が入っているのでお好きな方には嬉しい一枚です。

はっきり言って素晴らしい才能溢れる70年代カムバックアルバムです。
70年代のSEDAKAはすごい！素晴らしいほどのメロディ・メーカーぶりを発揮してます。
エルトン・ジョンのレーベルより全１６曲中２／３のバックが１０ｃｃ。しかも代表曲満載。
ヒット曲「LAUGHTER IN THE RAIN（雨に微笑みを）」にキャプテン＆テニールの歌った「LOVE WILL KEEP US TOGETHER（愛ある限り）」。そしてカーペンターズで有名な5曲目「SOLITAIRE」は感動ものっ。甘く透明感のある伸びる声はいつ聴いてもしびれます。
オールディーズファンには新たなSEDAKAを、70年代音楽ファンはもちろん満足、そしてソフトロックファンも必聴です！絶対損はしません。この1枚でお腹一杯になれます！

買ってみたら見事に正解でした！ケースさえ割れてなければ満点。
手持ちのケースで交換しました。ニール・セダカは、夏向きと
思い込んでいたのですが、今の(冬）季節でもしっとりと聴けます。
声の出し方が変わりましたね。だいぶ楽で聴きやすくてきれい。

昔アナログ版で感動した名盤ですので､この機会にとCDを調達してみたのですが.....音質が極めて悪く（特にヴォーカルが歪んでいる）､聴くに耐えません｡アナログ版の音質が良かっただけに大変残念です｡いったい､どんなマスタリングをしているのでしょうか？　しかし､まあ好きなアルバムですし､悪しき資料として手元に置いておこうと思います｡

I've been following Neil Sedaka ever since I was a young girl of 11 living in Whitestone, N.Y. and he was just coming onto the scene at 19 with his first hit "The Diary. ". I must have had an uncanny ability to recognize a true artist even back then. My friends thought I was crazy but as he turned out hit after hit the "Little Devil" got its due. What very few people knew was that he was also writing hits for other top artists and scores for movies. Also little known by my youthful contemporaries was that Sedaka studied as a classical pianist at Juliard. I'm happy to know that he is now back to his classical roots.

When I first heard "Sedaka's Back" I was thrilled by the depth of his compositions. They seemed to take a more technical and mature turn from his earlier popular music and yet these new songs were still his signature catchy. The lyricists, Howard Greenfield and Phil Cody, must be given a great deal, if not equal kudos. Anyone who is familiar with Sedaka's popular music must know that without the poetry of the lyricists this album might not be immediately recognized for the brilliant collection that it is. Listen to it or miss out on a Sedaka gem.....Shari Gellman Dince

One of the great come back albums of all time - Neil’s career took off again after this release and he has continued to this day as one of the worlds best singer songwriters

This album contains classic tracks that were big hits in the early 1970’s for Neil ( Laughter in the Rain “ ; “Standing on the Inside “ and “ That’s were the Music Takes Me “ ) as well as other Sedaka written classics like “ solitaire” and “love will keep us together “ which became very successful as covers by other artists of the day.

I really enjoyed this Album and it’s a great addition to my singer songwriter collection

Thanks Neil - I have seen him twice in concert - a class act and also one of founders of rock and roll .

I have the album and wanted the CD. I'm a big ELTON JOHN fan and when Elton signed Neil to his rocket records label I bought some of his albums. His sings are quite good.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Takes me back to the days when he toured the Uk with 10 CC and I saw him live. What a composer, what a pianist, what a singer. No one better in my experience and this Cd has some of his best tracks from those days, My LPs are long since worn out and am delighted to have this CD
