5つ星のうち5.0Huamn relations with landscapes and each other..both can change over time
Author William Lloyd makes wonderful use of language to describe the links between people and land...perceptions that can change over time as individuals change and as relationships change. In fact, that is the lesson, I believe, from this novel...that how one views his/her intimate relationship with the land (New Mexico, urban Los Angeles, etc.) depends indeed on the human relationships between characters in the novel who are experiencing those landscapes.
