Tears for Fears the English pop rock duo who formed in 1981 are associated with the new wave synthesiser bands of the early 1980’s but branched out into mainstream rock and pop, which led to international chart success with big global hits like "Shout" and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World"'. The duo parted company in 1991 and re-formed in 2000, it’s said that they have sold over 30 million albums worldwide and listening to this their greatest hits collection, ‘Tears For Fears Rule The World’, you can see why. This also includes their first new recordings in 13 years and of course features all the nostalgic tracks you’d expect, plus the two new songs: “Stay” and “I Love You But I’m Lost.”This 16 track CD is a good retrospective of the band's melodic style and catchy pop anthems, particularly if you don’t have any of their other recordings and like me, just want some of their career highlights.
This is a poor product. Yes of course the music is great but the finish of the vinyl record is appalling and the sound quality is abysmal, as outlined by other reviews (which I wish I had read before ordering!). Do yourself a favour and stick to the digital version.

Loved TFF in the eighties when I had the LPs. I got rid of them 20 years ago along with the stereo, but they are still as good listening to them now as they were way back then.
This refers to the Vinyl version. Only 4 stars as in my opinion the recording quality is less than brilliant. The music is great but a very poor production on vinyl.
