too many cons and too expensive for what you get
2020年6月29日にアメリカ合衆国でレビュー済みAmazonで購入
I really wanted to love this carrier and had high expectations when I bought it mostly based on the great reviews as well as the price however, I was disappointed. I’d also like to add that I chose this model over the Deuter comfort plus because of the shade on the Poco Plus seems more practical since it has mesh on the sides to keep stuff out of the baby’s way and because the shade also appears more taught and pleasant to look at compared to that of the Deuter.
My first impressions:
-the black and white colors are nice and the product looks expensive
-it’s big and bulky and takes up a lot of space even in the closed position
-it’s cushioning is not great and the material in the baby’s area is rough—similar to an Infantino baby carrier. My daughter and nephew both cried as soon as I put them in this.
There are several adjustment points but after trying for a few hours to get the right adjustment to where this thing wasn’t straining my neck, shoulders, or back with my 25 pound daughter in it, I was unable to find a comfortable position to fit my 5’2” frame. Trying was painful. There’s a handle on the part do the carrier where the baby’s chin rests and this faces the person carrying it. Well, this handle made it painful to look any way but down as it sat right at the nape of my neck regardless of what position each adjustment strap was at.
The baby’s weight was not distributed evenly as I wore her around as I felt pressure in one shoulder but not the other or on one hip and not the other—to alleviate this, I would change the strap position and even then, the straps weren’t even when I did get them to a bearable position.
One of the sides of this carrier was near impossible to close and it appears as though that particular side’s fabric was cut too short making it difficult to close shut as it should. After nearly losing a finger in trying to close this strap, I noticed a slight tear at the seams showing the fabric was pulled overly taught.
My daughter is 21 months old and is in the 76th percentile for her height. The foot straps were too short to accommodate her height and we were unable to use them.
The space on the bottom compartment of this carrier is big and I bet it would be useful for long hikes. The design of the shade was well thought out and the shade is easy to take out and tuck away.
I expected this carrier to be comfortable for me to wear, adjustable to my size, easy to use, and convenient to carry. This carrier has none of these factors. I will be returning this.

This is the best child carrier I’ve seen. It’s comfortable and lightweight. My daughter has so much room and is comfortable the entire time. She loves going on hikes and getting to ride in this! We also bought the rain cover to go with it.

Daughter loves riding in this backpack

This was a pricey splurge but we’ve been really happy with. My daughter is comfortable and enjoys the higher vantage point she gets when sitting in it. We’ve gone in a couple of hikes and she loves it. The built in sunshade is awesome and one of the key reasons why we went with the poco plus over some other pacjs. It also comes with a little mirror so you can check out you’re little one. I strapped the mirror to a retractable id lanyard and it makes it a lot easier to check to see if she’s ok. We also use it for walks around the block as well as during meal prep time and it’s just the two of us since it frees up my hands for cooking while keeps her from getting restless like she would be if we left her in her pack and play. Just wished we would have gotten it sooner when our daughter was younger so we would get more use out of it. Daughter is just beginning to walk and just hope she continues to enjoy riding in the pack vs wanting to walk on her own. Only downside is that even adjusting it to xsmall it’s still a bit too big for my wife to use it comfortably.

Comfortable for toddler and adult!

I haven’t actually gone on a hike yet since I just got it, but I’ve put my son in it and he seemed very comfortable. I carried him around the house and was able to get it all dialed in. Of course a few hour hike on the trails will tell the real story. I’ll update this after going on a few hikes on vacation next week.
I noticed a number of complaints about the handle behind the neck becoming uncomfortable here and in some articles. I found a simple solution. Just tuck it under the cushion. Look at my pictures. It seems to solve the problem.

Very comfortable for wearer and baby!

This pack is massive!!! But looking at all the other packs on the trail, it wasn’t much different in size then other brands. I am 5’4” 125lbs and was able to carry my baby comfortably for several days wearing him in this. Upwards of 7mile hikes over rocks, sand, etc and he was comfortable the entire time. He would take naps in the pack - especially morning naps. Thin blanket rolled up in front helped him get extra cozy but he is only 8 months old so on the smaller side of the minimum height and weight requirements. Huge bonus was that this pack has a built in sun shade - so necessary! I also like that the sides have the mesh shade so 1) he can’t stick his head out of the side and maybe get whacked by a tree limb and 2) so he doesn’t stick his head out the side and get sunburned- defeating the purpose of the sun shade in the first place. 3) shades even more sun when hiking in morning or evening and sun is coming in from an angle.
My husband is 6’2” and was also very comfortable wearing this pack. A feature we really liked is being able to adjust the pack for our different heights in a few seconds with the flip of a clip. Made switching him to the other parent mid hike very efficient.
Lots of storage space in the pocket in the bottom. We didn’t need to bring any other bag with us bc there was so much room for all of our babies items plus water bottles and snacks for us. We didn’t have a water bladder this last trip but the zippered pouch directly in the back looks big enough to hold one. I also really like the zippered pockets on the hips - we stored snacks for our son to hand off quickly while hiking. The kick stand does need to be open to use the bottom pouch. For a more streamline look you can fold the kickstand in and not use that part as storage.
Overall, completely worth the price!
