NZXTCapsule無印と違い樹脂製だが精度と質感がいいので高級感はある

無印で評判が悪かった無段階ヌルヌルダイヤルは少し改善されており、回すときにクリック感が出るが無段階なのは変わらない。

本体側の操作はミュートとPC本体の音量調整のみ
側音やゲイン調整はNZXT CAMから行える
ゲインは丁度いいが調整幅は少なめ
キーボードの奥に置くと少し小さいのでマイクアームで口元に置きたいところ。アーム用穴はカメラと同じ1/4インチネジ

追記:
数ヶ月使用後パソコンをスリープしたり再起動後、本体が認識されなくなったため毎回ケーブルを挿し直す必要がある。ソフトウェアの再インストール等では治らないため不具合又はソフトウェアの仕様変更かもしれない？

会議や教材作成のために、単体のUSBコンデンサマイクでそれなりに良いものを探していました。
指向性の切り替えが不要な代わりに、コンデンサカプセルの大きなものが欲しかったのでこれを選びました。

＜良いところ＞
・録れる音が自然なこと。中華コンデンサマイクのME63S（これはこれで悪くないです）も使っていますが、やはりというか音質はこちらが上です。もちろん、コンデンサカプセルが大きければ良いとは言い切れませんが……。
・雑音を拾いにくいこと。付属のスタンドを使って机に置いたとき、キーボードの打鍵音はだいぶ小さくなります。内蔵されているというショックマウントがうまく働いているようです。
・質感が高いこと。付属のスタンドも含めてどっしりとしており、質感が安っぽくありません。まぁ実際に安くもないので当然と言えば当然ですが。
・モニター機能がまともなこと。ME63Sはモニター音声にノイズが乗っていましたが、こちらは流石にクリアです。

＜今一つなところ＞
・ゲイン調整ダイヤルが無限回転であること。今どれくらいのゲインなのかをダイヤルの位置から判断することができません。
・かさばること。指向性切り替えのできないマイクにしては大柄です。付属のスタンドを使って机に置くとちょうど良い位置に来る……と言えば聞こえは良いですが、大きすぎる気もします。

＜総評＞
仕様面でライバルとなるのは、同じ25mm径の大径コンデンサカプセルをもつSeirenV2Xだと思います。たまたま安かった本製品を選んで満足していますが、SeirenV2Xの方がコンパクトではあるんですよね。
サイズ感や価格の面ではQuadcastも同クラスですが、あちらは指向性を切り替えられるのが売りですから毛色が違います。
素直に「ああ、音質いいなぁ」と思える録音ができたので満足しています。

Not sure what the actual hole size is but this does not work with any 5/8ths mount, not even close. It comes with an adapter to fit 3/8ths and the regular mounting size is something slightly smaller than that. Had to buy a second adapter and use 2 combined adapters to fit this mic onto my 5/8ths mic arm despite the description saying it fits 3/8ths to 5/8ths mounting arms.
