Vinyl LP pressing of this live release from the Grunge heroes. Recorded in November 1993, less than six months before singer Kurt Cobain killed himself, Nirvana's MTV Unplugged is a watershed document that presents a band at the peak of its powers. Unlike any other unplugged affair, the diverse album is not a simple stripped-down regurgitation of greatest hits or a cash-it-in set of nostalgic favorites. Rather, the live effort is among the most emotionally naked spectacles ever released an album so starkly intense and profoundly personal, it's impossible not to get chills down the spine. The set list is as surprising as the stylistic makeover. Save for renditions of 'All Apologies' and 'Come As You Are', the adventurous material includes brooding covers of the Meat Puppets' 'Lake of Fire', 'Plateau', and 'Oh Me' as well as harrowing versions of David Bowie's 'The Man Who Sold the World', and the Vaselines' 'Jesus Don't Want Me for a Sunbeam'.

Indiscutivelmente um álbum incrível lançado originalmente em 1994.
Esta versão foi prensada na Alemanha e além do selo de qualidade, ainda é um disco de 180g que dá gosto de se pegar e escutar com todo o ritual que só os discos de vinil conseguem nos proporcionar.
A qualidade da gravação é indiscutível. Fiz o vídeo do meu tocando na minha simples AT-LP60X com um kit de monitores de áudio da Edifier modelo R1000T. Muito satisfeito com o resultado!
Super recomendo!

Saw this for an absolute give away price and despite the mixed reviews about quality thought “what the heck, its less than the cost of a pint and a packet of crisps”.

And wow am i pleased i did!! This is easily one of the best pieces of vinyl in the rack. Its a surperb pressing - clear with zero rice krispies. You can hear a pin drop between tracks. Beautiful. I am so - so - pleased to have this amazing record on this vinyl i am almost beyond words. Its a beautiful record and a brilliant pressing.

Ignore all the negative reviews on here, do yourself a huge favour and click “buy”. You wont regret it.

Update. Side b skips the intto to the first song. Not great.

Great album but Amzon sent it with no packaging at all. Just a delivery label stuck on the plastic sleeve. Unbelievable!

Miraculously free of any major damage, just dog eared corners and a dent in the bottom of the sleeve, but come on Amazon sort our your packaging.

My favourite Nirvana album by a mile. Grew up with all the greb's raving about this band back in the day and I've never really got the hype. This album was the exception. I think the setting allowed Cobain's natural personality to come out and the music gives me an insight into who he was and his state of mind, at times his voice is by turns haunting and heartbreaking on this album. As for the Vinyl itself, plays perfectly, sounds beautiful on the turntable given to me by my Dad, which like me was born in 1978 and still going strong.

As soon as I got the album I had to try it out and ended up listening to it from start to finish. It's such a brilliant album and one I first had recorded for me on an old cassette tape from a girlfriend I had when I was a teenager. Brings back good memories for me and could quite possibly be my favourite nirvana album. The record itself is also perfect and I got two download codes in it 😊
