Don't forget about usに入れ替わってしまっています。 we belong together とfly like a birdを聴かなきゃですよ。

'Great Comeback CD!'
'It's Like That' is a good song to dance to (it has a good Hip Hop/R&B/Dance clubbing beat to it); 'We Belong Together' is a beautiful love song and it's Mariah's finest! I liked the piano, drums, hand claps and Mariah's vocals; she sounded fantastic and she shouted out R&B singers Bobby Womack and Babyface! 'Shake It Off' is another good song (it's 'okay' to dance to); 'Mine Again' is a nice love song and Mariah sounded as though she were crying; 'Say Somethin' featuring rapper Snoop Dogg is an 'okay' song to dance to and I didn't care for the rap by Snoop Dogg; 'Stay The Night' is another 'okay' song to dance to; 'Get Your Number' featuring Jermaine Dupri and rapper Nelly is another 'okay' song to dance to and rapper Nelly sounded as though he was 'desperate' to get Mariah's number (Mariah's vocals were good); 'One And Only' featuring rapper Twista is a good song with Mariah's vocals and the rap by rapper Twista is super fast! 'Circles' is another good song that sounds like a Neo Soul song (great vocals by Mariah and her background singers); 'Your Girl' is a nice love song and Mariah's vocals are nice as well; 'I Wish You Knew' is another nice love song and Mariah hits the 'whistle register'; 'To The Floor' featuring rapper Nelly is a good song to dance to with the drums and guitars thrown in the mix; 'Joy Ride' is a nice love song with Mariah hitting the 'whistle register' once again (good vocals by Mariah and her background singers); 'Fly Like A Bird' is a beautiful inspirational song and I loved Psalm 30.5; it's my favorite Scripture as well as my favorite song on the CD to get me inspired (Mariah definitely wrote this song because she suffered from exhaustion years ago and I can definitely relate to the lyrics in the song); 'Don't Forget About Us' is a nice love song to dance to; 'Makin' It Last All Night' ('What It Do') featuring Jermaine Dupri is an 'okay' song that is 'okay' to dance to; 'So Lonely' (One And Only Part II') is 'okay' and it sounded like Mariah was 'desperate' to find 'Mr. Right'; 'We Belong Together Remix' featuring rappers Jadakiss and Styles P is 'okay' and I didn't care for the remix of a beautiful love song nor the rapping by rappers Jadakiss and Styles P. A great comeback CD by Ms. Mariah Carey.

Admirable comeback with below-par album
After the record-breaking success in the 1990s and the commercial plummeting experienced after Glitter movie and album (2001), further compounded by the underperforming Charmbracelet (2002), not many music fans expected something huge from Mariah Carey anymore. But bounce back she did - with The Emancipation of Mimi (2005). This record even won her a handful of Grammies and brought up her commercially most successful single (and arguably one of her best ever) - We Belong Together.
The comeback was really admirable and testified to Mariah’s hard work and (as usual) good choice of collaborators, especially Jermaine Dupri.
Interestingly, though, the reputation of album is better than the album actually is - just opposite the case of Glitter. Apart that one big hit, that led the US sales charts for 16 weeks - not one song came even close. The album is pleasant to listen to, but leaves no permanent trace, the problem of the songs lies in the lack of their catchiness, even collaborations with trendy rappers sound tame and edgeless.
The ultra-platinum edition includes the subsequent number one song, Don’t Forget About Us, built on the very much same template as We Belong Together (some more similar tunes appeared even of the 2008 E=MC2, which in fact is a richer, more colourful record than Emancipation) and some other tunes, which clock the album close to one hour. Overall, the album sports a faux-retro groove, sometimes in slower songs reminding of such 1970s singers as Minnie Ripperton.
Emancipation is a professional achievement, although Mariah’s outfit and visuals (and some said even the music) were said to copy Beyoncé at the time, and it has aged relatively well. Still, it remains one of her weaker records even after post-2000. However, the general public liked and embraced the album, which, for the comeback seeking Mariah, was the very, very much welcomed fact at the time.

It's Good When You Know You'll Always Have GOOD!

I've been thinking on this subject for a long time. How can people be overdosed by the TABLOID junk; and how can people cover real art with a piece of cloth solely.
People loves to believe in that artists are inserted by a superior power. They never understand and they never learn to appreciate that artists are the one who brings these HITS to life.
For a long time Mariah Carey was blamed to be "Mrs. Thomas Mottola", and they thought Mariah was over-inserted by Thomas Mottola. Yet, everybody denied to see that, that was Mariah singing on her first to latest albums. It was underestimated that Mariah caught the hearts of milions of people. It was her songs, her feelings that she lend us to taste from.
Tabloid blinded people with that same phrase: "DIVA IN NEED".
I was saying what I'm saying now too when they first used this phrase in 2001 with "Glitter". It was highly artistic, but tabloid was not as high as her product.
Now, year 2005, and Mariah Carey's "Emancipation of Mimi" is as duelling as her previous "Music Box", "Butterfly", "Rainbow", "Emotions"... or dosens more. The bouqette of real artistic journeys are gifted in this disk. I hope Mariah were a SonyBMG artist again, so that we'd have her dualdisk mutually with that good quality of sound. Whatever, dualdisk may not be a big deal for some.
This recording by Mariah Carey is the closest to Columbia years, yet artistically inventive as Island is a bit more radical in style.
Mariah Carey: It's GOOD when you know you'll always have GOOD! NO ONE ELSE CAN EVER MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR VALUE and ART. TABLOID IS ONLY JUNK!
I hope you'll celebrate all the gainings from this album K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!! :D
