Love, the first side of my romance novel. I see love as a bond between two people, a couple whose souls have been mixed into one, a melding of minds. But like a couple, even when they are two people as one, both tell a story from different points of view. I have taken those sides and made a book for each. The first being Love is told from the point of view of a man, Robert. The second in the series to be released later this year.

“Love” is told from the point of view of Robert. I am waiting for the release of the woman’s point of view. As the author has said in his twitter that her name is Kaoru.
The book starts slowly, slowly, revealing on the way that indeed it is a diary. We learn to know the woman and the writer through the diary – by way of negativity. The man does something, says something and the woman contradicts or corrects him. She knows better.
It starts very lento, very. Just strewn details here and there. It becomes more complete from one page to another. Just short paragraphs, each adding something, the emphasis given to the writer’s feelings. All we know about her is through his eyes, very subjective. Because the way he sees her is each time influenced by something that happened, mostly something that she said or did, and any occurrence changes a little his opinion on her, to better or worse.
The result is that every few paragraphs the reader finds that the writer loves this woman – hates this woman – is attracted to this woman – loathes her – is angry at her. And this develops slowly, through marriage, through life together, from lento and onwards, the tempo keeps increasing until it almost reaches crescendo. The curve then starts descending, going down and down, and the reader almost holds his breath, waiting to find what happens next.
This is a unique book, or as I told a friend of mine – a real great idea.
