I've had an older LMF spork for years, it has a very smooth finish. Easy to clean and a delight to use. The new version has a rougher finish. My sponge actually sticks to it when cleaning. I'm sure the new finish is cheaper to produce. I see that an old version has become available at a higher price. If you want a smooth finish try the old first.
5つ星のうち1.0If you are going to pay $20+ for Ti spork, pay the extra $3 for the older version...

Prior to purchase, I saw that they offered the "old version" for $3 US more. I have several (4) of these sporks that I keep in my vehicle go-bags, personal bag and at the office. While I always thought that they (the manufacturer) should slightly adjust the angle on the fork side for comfort/ease of use, it was a quality utensil that got the job done. The "new version" does not meet the quality and finish of the old version. The moment I opened the packaging, I new this piece would be returned (which is rare for my Amazon Prime purchases). Specifically, the metal appeared like some cheap copy of the original. The printing of the wording ran through on the other side of the stamping, withing seconds I was thinking of the need to file the edges of the fork teeth (rough to the touch). In all, I would rather take a kitchen spoon than pay for or use the new version." Refund requested and immediately ordering the "old version" as the replacement (for my travel work computer bag/coffee cup combo when I am on the go for the man!).
....would be if this one also came in a left-handed version with the serrations on the opposite side of the tines. It is sturdy and perfect for my lunchbag for work and hikes.

This spork is over priced for sure but has its benefits. Lighter than steel, can’t rust and very durable. With using it and alternatives in the past 7 years I can say that I still have my Ti version. However my son went through many plastic versions which broke and a stainless steel version which wasn’t stainless and weighed twice as much. If weight management and durability is a concern then it’s worth the $.
