"She's everything I'm not and everything I want to be." Sebastian Iron's life is spiraling out of control. Over the course of one week, Sebastian witnesses death, runs away with his best friend's girl, gets kicked out of his English prep school, and is banished to America by his domineering mother to repeat his senior year of high school. In America, Sebastian struggles to find self-discipline and a purpose to turn his life around. He meets Tess Hamilton, the only person to show him any kindness in his new school. Little does he know, she is the savior tutor hired by his mother to help him improve his grades. The two slowly begin to build a friendship. As their friendship blossoms, Sebastian begins to have romantic feelings for Tess. She claims to only want a platonic relationship, but Sebastian feels the undeniable spark that sizzles between them every time they are together. Forces beyond their control will either bring Sebastian and Tess closer together or tear them apart. Will Sebastian return to his old habits or find the strength to be the person worthy of Tess' love?

Sebastian is a spoilt rich boy who's getting out of hand. Over the course of one week his life went spiraling even more out of control. So his mom sends him to America to finish his high school out with a tutor.
Tess has her mind focused on what she wants and there is no room for boyfriend's in that picture. She takes the job as a tutor to raise money to help with college. In no way did she see a complication of falling in love in her life. But will Sebastian change his ways and can Tess find room in her life for love? Find out when you read this book.
Ok, so I liked this book, it was fun, peppy and had a cute British dude with a sexy accent. What more could a girl ask for? *giggle*
It started off kind of slow, and I was expecting it to drag something horrible because of the slow starting, but I was wrong, it picked up speed and did so quite nicely.
Sebastian, our British dude with the sexy accent, is what everyone identifies as a typical rebelling teenager out to make his mother's life a misery. On his journey to do that life kicks him in the teeth and leaves poor Sebastian feeling completely out of control. His mother demands that he get his act together and throws him to the wolves, so to speak. With little choice but to listen to her, Sebastian sets out to get his out of control life back under control, with the help of his surrogate mother Nanny, and a gorgeous American tutor who is quickly worming her way into Sebastian's love starved heart.
We get to see the ups and downs of new love, insecurities, the joys of self discovery and the pains and heartache of loss.
A brilliant read! 5*****
This story makes me want to go back to senior year of high school again....only though if I can meet a guy like Sebastian!!!! The storyline is even set in the 80s...when I was in school.....so it felt like taking a trip back in time.....oh, the memories.
Sebastian, who is from England, is a bit lost in life. Life has given him too much to choose from and not enough "guidance." The world is his toy, so to speak. Tess, in America, is a very grounded senior in high school. She has been limited by life's circumstances, but, she has goals and is determined on her journey.
Paths cross...........life throws in a few speed bumps............love is just not a 4 letter word..........
Will Sebastian and Tess be able to take what has been mixed into their intwining lives and make something out of it?
Must read to find out!
Absolutely lovely story....I don't want to give to much away as I hope others will read it!
Tess is a straight laced sweet girl with goals and dreams. She works very hard to reach those goals. Having faced loss in her own past she is able to help Sebastian through a rough time.
Sebastian and Tess are wonderful together. They bring out the best in each other. Sebastian helps Tess let go and Tess keeps him more grounded. Looking forward to the next book.
