As an aspiring but ignorant guitarist, the first section of this book though evidently well intentioned leaves me baffled!
On page 12 is a drawing of a fret-board with all the notes indicated. All very pretty, but which end is which??
Is the nut at the left or the right end? there is a thick black line at the left end of the drawing a thinner line at the other end - what do they mean?
There is also a black ring on this and two on the next drawing - What do they mean? there is no key to this nor is there an explanation that I can find.
There is no indication that I can discern to indicate which way round it is!!
This is unacceptable in an instruction book - sack the proof reader.
This is definitely a return.

Nice clear concise method to accelerate fretboard learning. I found it really helpful and whilst the 'method' isn't rocket science; until you apply this way of learning/memorising the fretboard, the struggle to get to grips with the task makes you think it must be! For the small outlay, I got my money's worth ten-fold.

Without a shadow of doubt this is one of the best books, if no the best, on memorising the fretboard. If you want to know and understand the fretboard then you should get this book. It is straight to the point. Well done, Luke.

DISAPPOINTED!

This book arrived and is not all it is made out to be at all! There is only a small part towards the back of the book which refers to the subject matter i.e. fretboard, the remainder contains Religious content which is of no relevance or is not mentioned in the description. Absolute rip off!
