Following the 2013 reissue of TAKEN, a book that has been out of print for several years and fetched excessive amounts amongst collectors and those wishing to get their hands on such a legendary piece of non-fiction, INTO THE FRINGE is where it all began for Dr Karla Turner and her family. As with the reissue of TAKEN, INTO THE FRINGE is an officially authorized republication with the sole input of Karla Turner's widower Elton. Endorsed and approved by Elton Turner with the highest respect for the importance of the story; we excitedly bring INTO THE FRINGE to the 21st century.Into the Fringe documents the account of alien abduction and how Karla Turner, along with her family, uncovered the memories and physical evidence of their encounters with beings from outside of our own planet."This brave and defiant refusal, in the name of humanity, to countenance suffering from an alien tyrant masquerading as a benefactor, is Karla Turner's final legacy."- John Chambers, UFO Magazine
Dr. Karla Turner focused on the psychology and ethics of those alleging that they had been abducted, visited, probed and tormented by extraterrestrial beings. As a former college instructor who held a doctorate in Old English Studies as well as a B.A. and M.A. earned in both America and England respectively; Turner gave her heart and soul to help those trying to make sense of the things that didn't make sense. Dr Turner lost her battle to breast cancer in 1996 but her legacy to the paranormal field is all but not forgotten.
THe UFO/UAP community is not in agreement regarding where these beings are from; another solar system, another time, another dimension, a multiverse, a mix of these, etc. Who are they and why are they here? Their impacts on the abductees are a nightmare, and the reasons humans are being taken could be potentially horrific; we seem to be a resource of some type for them to exploit. There appears to be multiple species given their different outward appearances and they communicate telepathically. These issues are discussed in depth by the abductees in the text and their impressions and intuitions are vividly given, much of it under regressive hypnosis.
The aliens are not benevolent and we are left with the idea that we are no different than lab rats to them; they are interested in our genetics (cross breeding/hybrids) and they seem to "feed" on our emotions (anger, fear, depression, anxiety, sex, etc.). They may be genetically manipulating our future, a common abductee theme. Their ability to control and manipulate our minds/bodies in different ways is scary; the are crafty and deceptive, too. They come, take, and go as they please.
Very good reading with the story and people appearing authentic, but it is a little foreboding: "something wicked this way comes". PS--the impression is given that the government knows about all of this but is clueless as what to do.
