The objective of this book is to provide readers the tools they need to transform their lives, to identify your purpose in life, your vision for your life, and ultimately find peace and happiness. The author's science-based explanations about why things might not be going the way we'd hoped in life felt like so many lights popping on, answering questions a lot of us ask. He explains that we are conditioned from our early experiences to have certain emotions and live out certain patterns over and over again, harmful or not. And its not our fault. We're also not helpless to escape the patterns. The author goes on to teach the work we need to do within ourselves to break those patterns and learn to feel our emotions but let them go without their controlling our lives. A 9 week guided meditation course is included in the back of the book.
As another reviewer mentioned, the author offers a free course that goes along with the book and it is a great resource. Many areas are starting to use it as a book club book as well which can make the practices even more effective, especially if led by someone who has attended the author's conferences.
Picking up this book and flipping through the pages won't change your life. Dedicating yourself to the practices taught in the book will.

in such a clear concise manner. My experience studying at the university proved that the most complex subjects, e.g., James Joyce, Physics, or Differential Equations or can be simplified only by the most brilliant mind. Joey has done this. He has taken approaches to healing these four levels of the body and simplified it and provided exercises to master these in a way that absolutely no one alive nor dead has done.
I would and have urged everyone in my life to buy and read this book - I would and did skip food to buy this. Don't miss it or you will miss the greatest opportunity of your life to be happy.
This is a must read for anyone who is on the journey of improving their current lives.
