Strange zip fastener

Bought this as it looked a quality product. I usually order XL, I fall between 42 and 44 in chest , but other reviews recommended a size smaller than your usual. Took the advice offered and they were right, even with a t-shirt and a sweatshirt on, fitted comfortably. I found the sleeves perfectly alright and not too long. The quilted removable liner adds a good weight to the jacket, looking forward to using the combination in the cold dry weather. My only gripe, if you can call it a gripe is the zip. A good sturdy item in brass, but it fastens on the wrong side. The fastener is on the right side of the jacket, like a womans!! Caused me a little difficulty as every other jacket I have ever purchased has the fastener on the left, like a mans jacket! Not a particularly huge problem but being right handed, just a little awkward. All in all a very good product at what I consider a reasonable price. Recommend.

Only just received my first M65.Always wanted one but the 100% cotton fabric always put me off. This one is a nylon blend so should be more hard wearing and water resistant. I say it is excellent value for money.

I did a fair bit of reading around and this one sounds like the best. Seems very strongly constructed. Arms move well and it isnt too bulky or heavy which was a concern.

Definitely happy I went down a size and bought small which fits me like a medium. I'm 6ft and slim so it works even with a fleece underneath.
Not sure what the point of the hood is but I guess in windy weather it might be useful - its certainly better than nothing.

Just received jacket today was going by some reviews and ordered large when I usually take xl bit tight with liner in better without liner so I would recommend choose normal size to anyone else but as I'm trying to lose weight will keep it good jacket feels robust think it will be warm even without liner just watch what size you get but you can always return would recommend

Well its a m65 jacket pretty much the same as any other warm this one dose feel well made but I've also got another one I would say was the same in quality but £20 cheeper

A nice and well made M-1965 jacket. It features the original cut & style with just a touch of modern (Velcro), in the 'Nyco' fabric too. The included cold weather liner was to the same high standard. Probably the nearest cut and finish to the 1965 original jacket I've seen / tried; a very good jacket indeed.
