- 歴史あるボードゲーム RISK の最新バージョンが登場しました。
How will you shape your world? In Risk Legacy, every game you play will change every future game. A decision you make in Game 1 could come back to haunt you in Game 10. The risks you take in Risk Legacy are not like those in any other board game. You and the other players will shape how your world evolves: its history, its cities, even its factions and how they fight. Cards and stickers will come into play. Cards will go out of play forever. You don't forget past betrayals - and neither does the game. Unlock new rules and watch events unfold as you play more games. No two games will ever be the same. Play your game. Write your history.
If you enjoyed playing Risk and want a fresh take on it, then Risk Legacy is a great variant. It is also a less-intensive introduction to the "legacy" mechanic compared to games like Pandemic Legacy and Gloomhaven. Ideally, this game would be perfect if you have a consistent playgroup (at least for the first 10 games), however, it is still playable with different people. The rules and new mechanics are not difficult to comprehend - the learning curve is not too steep, especially if you have experience playing different tabletop games.
Personally, I thought vanilla Risk was too basic considering the available alternatives (especially European tabletop games), however, Risk Legacy adds a lot of strategy and randomness that makes the experience very enjoyable.
One of the things that I didn't enjoy about the original risk is that it could take hours to finish a game. With Risk Legacy our first game was over in 30 minutes! Player's aren't working towards world domination but instead must get 4 stars that can be achieved through a variety of ways. Everyone that has played this game has loved it (even those who don't like regular risk). The game play is close to standard risk with a couple of critical changes to make the game go faster, yet a bit riskier. It still has the problem of dice rolls where a small army can end up defeating a much larger army.
One of the cool new elements added to the game is that there are different factions for each player. Now picking what colour you want to be is no longer trivial! Each faction has different powers and those powers can change as you play the game!
The only problem I had is that in one of the packages that we had to open the stickers weren't properly applied to the card and were stuck to it with no backing so we couldn't use them. Amazon quickly processed the return and I'm in the process of getting a new one.
