Received product quickly after ordering and is comfortable.
Falsely advertised size on both products that I ordered. Doesn't look like the advertised photo (missing logo, not flush with keyboard)
They wouldn't line up with my keyboard which I measured before purchasing. I ordered because they are advertised as being 17" and flush, edge to edge, with 17" keyboards. Both sizes that I received were clearly 1"-1 1/2" shorter than advertised. Also they don't have a logo on them like the photo the only reason I know they are Grafiti brand is the plastic bag they came in. I would like to know how they manufacture these because they are getting their cuts wrong. Otherwise these products need to be advertised as 16 in. wrist rests.
I like the feel and would use these if they were actually the right size, but I feel like I've been lied to as to make a sale. If the manufacturer wants to reach out to make it right, I will accept that and adjust my review.
HOWEVER.. I would NOT recommend this for your mouse wrist rest, if you use one...
I use a k70. and it lines up perfectly with the back feet on the keyboard down and the front ones up.. But it still lines up great even with the front feet down. However, I did remove the stock k70 wrist rest, because together, it just set my keyboard way too far back...
For your mouse rest, if you plan to use one, and you have the room, go with the standard surface... not the smooth skin...
I need more surface area, so not only is the smooth skin a bad surface for my mouse wrist, but this rest is far too big for me to use with my mouse...
Good thing that's not what I bought it for...
It works fantastic paired with a k70 (with the stock wrist rest removed).. Smooth skin Not great for mouse hand wrist rest.
The price on Massdrop, however, was only slightly better than the Amazon Prime pricing offered by Grifiti. Naturally, I opted for two-day shipping over the 1-month waiting period common to Massdrop purchases.
I was expecting these to be more squishy, but I'm glad how firm they are. Soft, but firm. They provide ample support for your wrists, and are the most comfortable pads I've used over long periods of typing and clicking. If you're at your desk for more than an hour each day, I'd strongly recommend these.
Not only are these functional, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing; I also love the smell. It's like a new car bought new shoes.
Worth every penny so far. I have owned it for approximately 2 weeks. I have carpal tunnel in my left wrist. This has greatly alleviated pain around my scaphoid and medial part of my forearm. I have not tried to clean it yet, but that's because it hasn't gotten dirty yet. A warning though, if it gets warm where you use this then I recommend putting a paper towel or hanky over it to prevent sweat from accumulating on it. It isn't exactly water-proof; the water will stay on top of it and give you some time to wipe it off, but some does get absorbed by the surface.
As a gaming pad this works very well with a WASD config. It will alleviate most of the effort in having your fingers there. The extra width allows me to type very comfortably when not gaming. The length of the pad is much more than typical keyboard wrist pads, and this only acts as a bonus. The more of your forearm on the pad, the less strain on your wrists. The thickness of the pad is superb. It is "perfectly thick" without sacrificing much cushion. This may be because the surface of the pad has a different finish than the center of the pad does. This results in giving you firm support from the center material while the surface provides a "just right" cushioning. I am a light weight person, so if I find this enough cushioning then you certainly will if you are heavier.
I game for long periods as well, I haven't noticed much wear and tear on the pad. It doesn't sag in any areas that would affect functionality, the only real area that gets affected is the corner pointing towards me, but that's only after a long period of usage. The corner sags downward a bit because of the angle I hold my forearms at, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the pad at all and if anything has warped a bit more towards how my forearms are. If you stop using it for a while, it will go back to normal.
+It's pretty comfortable
+The dimensions (especially thickness) are perfect for my keyboard/wrist (Cherry g80)
+The weight is good, so it doesn't slide much
>It got pretty grimy (probably my fault - I used it for many many long gaming sessions) and isn't particularly easy to clean
-It's not very well made: the top portion began to split from the foam pretty early even at the parts I don't touch - though it's probably durable since it's just a piece of foam
-Upon arrival it had that terrible smell for like 1.5 weeks
