Kul Chandra Gautam is a former deputy Executive Director of UNICEF and Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations. He is a distinguished diplomat and development professional who currently serves on the boards of several national and international organizations, charitable foundations and public-private partnerships. Gautam previously served as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Nepal on International Affairs and the Peace Process. He is active in Nepal's civil society in promoting human rights, socio-economic development, democracy and good governance. Global Citizen from Gulmi is inspiring and it provides a fascinating insight into the people and institutions that impact some of the most challenging issues on the planet. In the US, we like to say "only in America" can a person rise from poverty and obscurity to success, but Gautam emerged from an impoverished and remote village in Nepal to global prominence in the UN. His impact on global policies and programs for children through UNICEF has been extraordinary. His story gives us reason to be optimistic about the capacity of people of good will to make a meaningful difference.

This is a genuine walk on the path that makes dreams become real.
It is more than a book it is the hope in our capacity we all have to improve our condition and becone the change we want to see.
No secret just hard work but sometimes it helps to knows we are on the right track.
Doing our best, giving everything we can and we wont have any regret but peace and serenity
An inspiring example of determination and perseverance.
