Garmin 60CSx compatible

I've purchased a few of these including the screw on knobs only because I like to be able to replace my devices, accessories, attachments if they become lost, broken or discontinued. As all plastics and polymers, they are prone to break. I use mine with a retractable lanyard and fastened my belt clip over the shoulder strap of my camelbak or chest harness. This allows me to negotiate uneven terrain while abating the risk of loss or damage to my GPS. I've used this clip for several years now and refuse to transition to any other due to it's versatility.

could be stronger

I am currently on my third one of these with my Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx. They last about two years each, being used for about 25 hikes per year. I have discovered that there are two primary places that they break. 1) The clicker that you push down to release it will eventually crack and break off. 2) The spring-loaded clip will crack and break too. I have been able to extend the life of this item by about 1/2 year by waiting to buy a new one until both pieces of plastic crack and break off. The GPS device itself is strong. I'm not sure why they didn't make the clip stronger too.
Clip for older Garmin Geko

This was a difficult item to find at retail over the years and I am pleased Amazon had it available at a reasonable price and was able to ship in time for a hunting trip to Colorado. The product worked exactly as advertised and allowed me to use my older Garmin GPS clipped to either my shirt pocket or jacket pocket rather than inside one of my pockets as in the past losing contact with satellite signals. Very easy to take on and off clip or unclip as needed.
Overpriced, but helpful

My Second One! Works Okay, but be careful!

This is my second belt clip. When I purchased my Garmin 60CSX about a year ago I read reviews about the belt clip being fragile. I used the clip for several months without any problems. This fall I was at a Phillies playoff game going up steps and the GPS caught a railing tearing it off my belt and breaking the belt clip. Had I not had the lanyard looped around my belt the GPS would have dropped 3 stories. My advice is when using the belt clip, always secure the lanyard to something on your clothing or belt.
