Digitally remastered and expanded 30th Anniversary edition including three bonus demo recordings. Dr. Feelgood is the fifth studio album by Mötley Crüe, originally released in September, 1989. Dr. Feelgood has been certified six-times platinum in the U.S. alone, thanks to such hits as the title track, "Kickstart My Heart", "Without You", "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" and "Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)". It's also Mötley Crüe's only album to hit #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

This is a clear case of 'what you see is what you get'; it's a leather doctor's bag with a printed logo [embroidered would have looked a bit better] that has all kind of 'doctor feelgood' goodies in it. Actually, more goodies than music which might be the main complaint here. The coke bottle green colored vinyl sounds fantastic and this color is exclusive to this set [it's also available in black, dark green and white vinyl but this color fits the cover perfectly], the 30th anniversary CD is the same single disc that is available in shops and has less tracks than the 20th anniversary 2-CD set (this single disc misses the live tracks). The three picture discs have the same photo on both sides (a different band photo on each B side would have been nice) and there's no booklet , DVD or blu-ray with interviews, bonus material, videoclips, a live show from the tour or a 5.1 surround mix. For a deluxe box a booklet and DVD / blu ray should have been a 'must'. So musically the well known album does all of the speaking on vinyl and CD. All the extra gimmicks [recipe booklet, patient, files on the 4 members, guitar picks, drumstick pen, pin and playing cards and strait jacket koozie] execute the 'Dr. Feelgood' theme perfectly. Especially the strait jacket koozie is hilariously cool [no bottle included though]. There's no poster, stickers or T-shirt included in this set so what you see in the PR photo is what you will get and I knew that when I ordered this from Amazon in Germany so I'm not disappointed at all. Especially since I ordered this for € 119 via Amazon in Germany while other outlets sell this for € 185 or more (sometimes even with additional postage costs that you do not pay via Amazon).

And again Amazon delivered as fast as possible for the best price on the internet so if you want this box then Amazon Germany should be your source.

This is by far the best record from Motley Crue. The outer sleeve is awesome, you can feel the 3D tiles. The sound could be better, but the pressing is good (no warp of skuff marks). My girlfriend loves it and that's the most important part :-)
