Even though this is a repressing of the original Japanese 8cm disc, its quality is outstanding. Hide made all kinds of music, from pop to hard rock to industrial rock, whatever that is. But 'Eyes Love You' is a beautiful, harmonious song with hide's typical brilliance on guitar upfront. He changes tempo as easily as one changes clothes. The song is catchy, and has a peaceful affect on the listener. The second song, 'Oblaat' is one of hide's hard rocking songs, again filled with changes in guitar style throughout. There is a hidden track way into the cd, which sounds like an acoustic jam of 'Eyes Love You' with hide and some of his friends singing along. It is truly sad he died so long ago, because his music sounds as if it were just recorded. Worth it to hide fans, and if you can find it not so pricey, an excellent cd for any rock/pop collection.
