Eri Sasaki is still a very good musician, singer, and composer. Comma as the album itself is 5 stars for me like her other albums, although for now I still like her other albums better.

Comparison to her other albums:
- Period has a lot of catchy sounds that remain fresh to date. Perhaps because it’s her first album it remained my favorite - there are a lot of songs in that album that I still listen a lot to, like ‘Period’, ‘Be Clear’, and ‘Pausing’. Sasaki-san also seemed to have deferred to other artists on this album more and because she has continually moved towards her own style, Period will probably remain unique.
- Colon, I also really love mainly because the Bakamatsu songs (‘Haruka Naru Tabi’, ‘Part of Me’) are so powerful, and this is album also features Sasaki-san’s beginnings in the Yuru Camp universe; her big hits ‘Fuyu Biyori’ and ‘Haru no Tonari’ are here. Sasaki-san also collaborated with a different group of artists like her old band, Lattice. Colon as a feel of being experimental as each song sounds has very different styles, crossing different genres.
- Comma, at least right now, does not seem to have the strong songs that the other two have, but the big thing is that it seems to be the most “Eri Sasaki” album to date. Since she moved back to Fukuoka she seemed to have found truest herself. It makes sense if you’ve been listening to her songs and healing sessions online: there is a certain feel on where her musical tendencies lie. The result is perhaps her most grounded album and gives the most homely and comfortable feel.

As for the songs, the top 3 highlights for me are:
- Dramatic has been my favorite track from the moment I heard it during the pre-release live video with Sasaki-san. It somewhat reminds me of the freshness of Period songs.
- Snowflakes is great as a dual-language song. While Sasaki-san’s Japanese singing is superb, she has always tried to push into English as well, and to me Snowflakes is her best output on this so far. Both versions feel natural - the lyrics fit so well with the melody.
- Haru yo Koi: I’m so happy she included this one. I hope it’s the first of many rarities she would add in her albums. (Please include ‘On the Rails’ in the next album!)
I'm surprised 'Toumeisampo' was not included in Comma, it was a pleasant surprise from the Mimosa ED.

As for the product and delivery, maybe 3 of 5 stars.
- Comma’s inlay booklet is very... simple. I have the Oyasumi version and aside from Sasaki-san’s art featuring her dog on the cover, the rest of the booklet are just white pages with lyrics and credits on them. It has no additional photos like Colon, for example. Maybe this aligns with the 'grounded' feel of the album... though personally I would've liked if they added more.
- The pre-order's initial delivery date was March 1-2, but it got delayed and was delivered on March 6 instead. Not a big deal though because the album had been accessible in streaming from February 28.
- Twice now (both with Colon and Comma), I preordered through Amazon believing I would get the autographed photo card advertised by Sasaki-san herself, but I never got any. Are they exclusive only to local orders? It’s sad but I guess I can’t do anything about it as a fan living in another country.
