What a great book! I picked this up on a recommendation and I'm so glad I did. I perhaps made the mistake of thinking it should be read cover to cover, but in a way this helped as I read games/scenarios that I would have otherwise skipped over. What I love about this book is how well written it is. In the wake of the 50 Shades phenomenon it seems that numerous writers have been swept up in the trend of selling "kink" to the masses largely at the expense of the English language; Jackson Rocco I applaud your writing style.
The Book of Filthy Sex Games has a delightful approach giving sound advice and references to other fetish writers/ shops/ clubs etc. throughout whilst delivering a range of games for everyone from beginners to more experienced kinksters all of which can be used as a springboard, adapted and made to suit your own kinky desires. It is definitely a book I will come back to again and again!
Well written and humorous approach, and some not for the faint hearted.
Bought Kindle edition ... which someone really needs to spell check. I would knock a star off for this - but, this would reflect on the author and the work.
The Book of Filthy Sex Games is good brain food for both experienced kinksters and beginners. While some of the scenes seem to be a bit brainy and constructed, this is actually exactly the good part. More than just a summary of kinky scenes, the book invites you to think about the psychological dimensions of play as well as hierarchies and power relations (e.g. playing with money and the social psychological dimensions). Some people might not want to swith off their brains in bed! :-) At the same time, this is not a difficult read: it's written for entertainment and those who like a little variety. And in the world of super kinky Brits, everything can turned into a sex game :-) Every scene concludes with a little internet browsing suggestion aka advertisement.
