Some of the ones here are printed for the first time in this format . I didn't mind the plays ,but the Bramah one was very weak indeed. Nice to see a really good H C Bailey story . The Crofts and Rhode ones have been reprinted many times .
I was impressed with the Christie story ( I do not worship at that altar as much as many readers ) ; only 8 pages ,but powerful stuff. I found the extra information from Tony Medawar of particular interest . If only the pricing policy was more in line with others .
Out of 16 stories I only disliked/could not read 3. The rest I really enjoyed and would definitely read more by some of the authors I had not read before.
All in all a good read from the golden age of crime fiction
